Re: Leeds v Elche friendly - Live on YouTube. 7.15pm

Thought Klich (different class) & the kids did well after a shocking lethargic first-half. Klich is very much stilll a premier class footballer, Poland missed him big time. First half we were flat I thought and maybe under rated our opponents who were very good on the ball, had beaten WBA last ...

Gyabi looks a class apart .... Klich is such an intelligent footballer, really doesn't need the pace or needless running around to see him at his best

Re: Jack Harrison- Stick or twist

Jack is a get to the bye line player naturally, that's what the difference is. He's at his most dangerous wide and able to use his left foot, he's much less effective if he's narrower forced to come in onto his left which basically only really leaves an option to shoot from distance or a lay off.. H...

Re: Jack Harrison- Stick or twist

Strange how other players can adapt to Jesse's system For someone who uses the square pegs round holes mantra with impunity it seems strange that you now ignore it to suit your agenda.. There's no evidence at all his head is in Newcastle, and it's been Jesse Marsch playing him as an inverted winger...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 7th December) Is Firpo the victim of a smear campaign

We cannot have a player like Firpo that shows glimpses. In our position in the league we need more consistent performances, like Struijk. There’s no smear campaign, just a lot of frustration. Chris Wood on loan fine, but if that happens it’ll be all we get. Yet Struijk last season was very inconsis...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 7th December) Is Firpo the victim of a smear campaign

It is too late for him at Leeds imo. No clue tbh, he's good enough for Leeds for sure. 12 M is back up price with the hope he does more which he has in him. This forum writes players off after 5 minutes as a general rule, I just like to rail against that short term kneejerk uninformed opinion when ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 7th December) Is Firpo the victim of a smear campaign

Firpo has a great left foot, very intelligent passer and can get to the bye line. Defensively he's about the same as Rasmus for me, capable of being caught out upfield, has saved goals by being there instead of the CB who's gone missing. The groin injury is unfortunate meaning a lack of game time bu...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 5th December) Bamford undergoes surgery

We need Paddy fit as he’s the back up striker, there’s more goals in the old dog yet. He’ll be fine and off the bench for 30 minutes when needed was always his best position
