Re: Album of 2022 (Part II)

If you fancy pursuing a third round of the Album of the Year polls, you could insist on not including any albums from rounds 1 & 2 that scored 20 points or more, which is generally the top 3 to 5 albums. Just a thought :duno: Not sure tbh ... We could cherry pick years but during that last run ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 6th December) - Leeds to rescue Brereton Diaz from La Liga nightmare?

Yeah. It's pretty clear that any of them need a run of games if they're going to be effective. We're having the same discussion on Greenwood. Didn't ever get to start 2 games. Didn't get to play in same position. So he never got comfortable at Leeds. Now he's playing regularly and knows his role, h...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 6th December) - Leeds to rescue Brereton Diaz from La Liga nightmare?

Unsure with this really, for instance the boro bench This is only my opinion mind : Gnonto is rated but it's his attitude Gruev is yet to prove anything of substance Anthony & Spence are on loan The others are pure squad players with maybe this as their last season with us. Cooper Bamford Antho...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 6th December) - Leeds to rescue Brereton Diaz from La Liga nightmare?

No way I'd sell Gnonto for less than 25M, he's not playing because he got injured and James took his chance and is in a rich vein of form..

Curious thing about this forum is it seems to think we lack depth but doesn't rate any player that can't make the first 11 regularly, so it's catch 22.

Re: Album of 2022 (Part II)

It's the Champion of Champions poll... shouldn't take long as no nominations 64 may correct me but I think it's pick your favourite 10 from this list and anyone can vote I should say up to 10, if you can't do 10 then do as many as you can but the top points score comes down. I.E: Pick 10 and it's 10...

So you want a back up, which for the purposes of this poll wouldn't need the box ticking

We need a left back for sure but not one to replace Byram outright, someone happy to sit on the bench and maybe play in the cup

Re: What position do we need to fill with players who would START

None of these three can play a whole season, especially Gray at his age. If they don't rotate the team expect a huge drop off come the spring time. Rotation isn't a great tactic... Should always start your best 11 which atm wouldn't include Gray if he's not playing full back. A three man mid would ...

Aye, I expected Soulsavers to be contending for best album Leon, and probably The Cure to win it. Broken deserves a lot more votes than it's received. First time I saw The Cure live was at Newcastle City Hall, and that was when they were touring Faith. I can still feel the bass vibration from the f...

Re: FA Cup 3rd round draw

We have a history of stumbling for a bit when we lose a cup game to a lower/lowly club ... A win maintains club confidence. I'd play for the win. Think it was last season (season before?) we won a cup game but bought on Rodrigo latish who got injured.. Lets not do that again

Re: What position do we need to fill with players who would START

Need a RB as priority. Shacks limits us there and Ayling looks out of favour in that position. Gray is wasted there imo , and Spence is a sicknote by the look. That gives us four midfielders to rotate with. Five if you include Shackleton. CBs are fine with Rodon, Struijk, Cooper, Ayling ( at a push...
