Brentford will batter Fulham.

Fulham are nothing special.

Would give up on any hope of Brentford players now.

Well that was a hard watch, the thought of hoofing Cardiff gaining promotion would be galling

Brentford are by far the best if the playoff teams. They deserve to go up and play the best football (after us )

Cannot stand Thomas Frank though he's a complete numpty

With Cardiff and Swansea staying down Orta's got all those quality players to sort through.

Erm, maybe Ayew and Smithies and that's all folks.

why on earth would we look to championship sides for players to improve our squad, when those teams have failed to get promoted??

likewise, why would we look to those teams relegated from the Prem, when their players were not good enough to stay up??
I'm often accused of acting like I don't care

It's not an act!!

FA Cup Final

Post by Muppet the Cat » Fri Jul 31, 2020 6:31 pm

Didn’t even realise this was on tomorrow until they just started discussing on Radio 5.

Unfortunately, not the event it used to be.

Mind you, hope Arsenal give Chelsea and Fwank a beating :)

Dont want Chelski to win, but dont like Arsenals owner Kroenke? He is a big, brave man with a big gun who gets lots of money from sad people who want to shoot stunning wild animals, Lions, Tigers etc. Can't stand what he stands for....

Hobson's choice.

Have to pick Chelsea (under duress) as I wouldn't want Arse to win anything ever.

As a Leeds fan, I could never want a team associated with the cry baby to win anything.

I can’t abide Chelsea and I really can’t abide that ill mannered, disrespectful git Lampard.

I hope Arsenal wallop them off the park!

Absolutely hoping Arsenal will win, but I don't think they have an answer for Pulicic.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love Leeds to win the Cup, but it has certainly lost its appeal/magic over the years.

There's no Cup-winners European comp, though the winners do go into the Europa Cup.

Most teams hardly ever play their first eleven until late into the comp. The top teams can get away with that due to the depth of the massive squads.

There was even those years where the final was played before the last week of the Premier League, further diluting it's appeal as a season-ender. There was even a spell where smaller teams drawing an elite side would elect to play away rather than at home for the financial rewards.

So clubs have played their part in diluting the magic of the cup. That's progress I suppose, but it's a shame.

I can't remember when I last watched an FA Cup final, and given that the game is now played in the evening UK time, I doubt that I'll watch one again unless Leeds are playing.
We're going up like there is no gravity!

Have always admired Arsenal. Never liked Chelski.

Didn't know that about Arsenal. Still can't wish anything but failure for Lampard though.

My Dad's team (Chelsea) vs my brother's team (Arsenal). Don't care for either of them although I loved the way Arsenal played under Wenger, especially when they had their great players. Given the complete media love-in over Frank, and his amazing achievement in getting Chelsea to finish just 1 place lower and 6 points worse off than the season before which was so disastrous their manager was sacked, I will have to side with Arsenal for this one. May watch it in the background.

I’m cheering for Chelsea, that’s the effect Frank has on me.

Ryan Edmondson had come on for the last 30 minutes for Aberdeen today against Rangers.
Sounds like he put himself about and did on, but Don's were pretty poor.

Strangely enough because of where I live (Oldham, Greater Manchester) if someone from another household came to my house to watch Frank's boys playing on tv we would be breaking the law. Wonder what Frank would have to say about that?
