Just a bit of a distraction if anyone can be bothered
Today would have been Don Revies 91st Birthday.
Who should manage a greatest Leeds 11 is obvious, but who should be in it?
This has been done before so needs a twist.
Don Revie, Howard Wilkinson, David O'Leary, Simon Grayson and Marcelo Bielsa.
4 managers who did something while here that has seen them be remembered positively to differing degrees, plus Marcelo Bielsa, a manager whose reputation speaks for itself.
So the rules are.
4-4-2 , 4-2-3-1 or 3-3-1-3 formation to keep it simple.
Only permanent Leeds players allowed, no loans.
ONLY 2 PLAYERS PER MANAGER EXCEPT FOR 1 MANAGER, THE 11TH PLAYER CAN BE FROM ANY ERA BUT THERE MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 2 FOR ALL
So 2 for Revie
2 for Wilkinson
2 for O'Leary
2 for Grayson
2 for Bielsa
Plus 1 from any.
2 - Sterland - HW
3 - Cooper - DR
4 - Bremner - DR
5 - Matthew Kilgallon - DoL
6 - Pontus Jansson - MB
7 - Strachan - HW
8 - Currie - JA
9 - Beckford - SG
10 - Clarke - JA
11 - Gradel - SG
Cheated a bit
"objective fan" - is that a consistent oxymoron?"
