No doubt Ken was deriding him for the investment he's been making!

Comparing CV's for who's the bigger con-man?
(That is for the crowd yet to warm to Papa Cellino)

Would suspect it has something to do with the stadium re-purchase.

Who had seen him there? Is this another one of these.... I have seen Alan Smith coming out of Thorpe Arch rumours.
It seems a strange place to have a meeting so I am guessing it wasn't anything to get worked up over

Thanks. It's about 12 years since I was in the Peacock. Last time I was in Leeds I had a few pints in the Horse and Trumpet, very nice they were!

Fantastic ale in the Peacock now that Ossett Brewery have ownership - and as mentioned good grub....but still rammed pre home games with long waits at the bar.

I would imagine the Max/bates meeting will have summat to do with bates' unfair dismissal claim against the club :duno:

I don't want bleeding radio Yorkshire to get sole right's to air Leeds games. I don't have a DAB radio in the car. Gggrrrrrr this better not happen. Bates just f**k off and leave us alone.

I honestly can't see that happening. LUTV subscribers would want their money back and the BBC (R.Leeds) would not go down easily if that came to pass.
But like I said....interesting.

Get a Pure Freeway.

It's the size of a sat nav (and a darn site more useful...), mine was new for £60 but now DABs are becoming standard in cars you can pick them up cheap on eBay
