Re: What are you doing today ?
On Saturday morning I dropped my Mrs car off at the Mitsubishi garage on Low Road Hunslet and decided to walk into Leeds alongside the Leeds Liverpool canal and River Aire. It was a lovely bright morning and the river was teeming with Ducks, geese and cormorants but the star was a Kingfisher which sat on a branch as I went by. The pictures are from the footbridge which links Brewery Wharf to the Calls. I don’t know how to rotate the pictures and the captions are wrong, they should be the other way round, the first one is looking towards Hunslet. Anyway, it was a lovely walk albeit very cold

Never knowingly seen a cirl bunting, or anything particularly rare; apart from some kind of goose that blew onto Lindisfarne one winter. I'm not a bird watcher as such, but I enjoy seeing them. Bats too.

Sitting on our patio looking down the garden drinking coffee on a lovely sunny morning/afternoon

Dull and gray in the Peak District. Up to my elbows in bleach. Got the plumber coming later as the pipes have started making weird noises in the middle of the night. Please distract me with interesting signings, Leeds!

Re: What are you doing today ?
Spending a weekend in Dublin and despite being completely sober tripping over a kerb and smashing my face and shoulder into the road resulting in cuts and bruises and an early night in bed when all I wanted to do was have a few pints of Guinness ...

Re: What are you doing today ?
No but I love haggis venison and whisky, so it's just an excuse to indulge. A little too much with the whisky. So glad the lads footie match was called off this morning.
Re: What are you doing today ?
A lovely walk along Brid seafront then onto Victoria Mills for our favourite snack place in the town
Crumpets & a latte for me.
Aussies Pairs bowls match this afternoon
Quick dash home for a light tea then back out an hour later
Cup Pairs bowls match this evening
What a superb season so far
All go even on my day off
