Does anyone know the exact terms of the Costa deal do we have to take him regardless of whether we go up or not.

If I were Rads I'd blink first, but he needs to make sure that Adams starts in fairly quick time if he does take that gamble...Bit like playing poker negotiating with teams for players, especially those at the top table.

In fact I'd save the Mill loan fee and slap down 8 in cash now if we can...I think they have buyers remorse but are trying to get as much back as poss..

Phil Hay reckons Adams may well happen but Southampton want £1m loan fee and a guarantee to buy at the end of the season for £10m. Leeds want to do the £1m loan fee but only commit to buy at £10m if we get promoted but our hand is being forced.
Deal over.....move on

Dont know for certain but the Costa deal will become permanent in the summer.

It says that on our website and everywhere else.

I checked the Ivan Cavaleiro Fulham deal to see maybe it was just standard "will" wording but seems not.

Cavaleiro was an option to sign ours is according to all reports an obligation.

I still have faith in Costa tbh

So we pay 10 mil at the end of the season, ...if promoted it's chicken feed , if not promoted the sale of KP more than covers it. Am I missing something here ?

We don't need anymore midgets in our squad :(

Big powerful pacy signings are required, sick of seeing our boys being bullied

From what I gather the Phillips money is earmarked for Costa and Meslier. Even so there should be the 10 left that is required for Adams. That's as long as we get £28m for Phillips, who WILL be gone if we don't go up.

Have we committed to buying Costa for £15m? seems like a complete waste of the money we'd get for phillips.. Surely if he's not performed as expected we can pull out of the deal ?

This Phil hay fella doesn't seem to get anything right, I don't believe a word he says

...and probably a couple of others will be gone as well admittedly not for mega mils but surely there's enough there which doesn't make the Che Adams deal out of reach. I hope this isn't AR bigging himself up as millionaire football club owner and backing out of a no brainer deal ! This guy seems to want nailed on guaranteed promotion before he'll part with a couple of quid !

That was before we decided to lose Roofe though.

I think we havent got near the best of Costa yet, but imo he and Ayling need to work together more down that right hand side.
