My Colourful Family

Post by whiteswan »

Growing up my surname was GREEN
My Nan's surname was WHITE before marrying my Grandad GREEN
Her sister Florence, who's surname was also WHITE, married Jack BROWN
Their daughter Valerie BROWN then married Alan BLACK
At their wedding the bridesmaids were me, GREEN, the brides sister Pat BROWN, the Grooms niece Julie BLACK, and the brides best friend Linda GREY.
The best man's surname was BLACK
The ushers surnames were BROWNS and BLACKS
At the wedding, the surnames were 5 GREENS, 3 WHITES, 5 BLACKS, 5 BROWNS and 3 GREYS....it made the mainstream news read out by Gordon Homeycomb.....Oh.....and the Wakefield Express sent their own photographer and reporter.....(in their own words "doing our bit towards this colourful wedding, Les GRAY and Frank SCARLET").....I kid you not, just wanted to share it with you :)

So working that out I'm assuming the Groom was also a Black. So if you followed in the current thinking of keeping your maiden name as well you'd be ????? Green-Black?

Do you like chocolate ?
