updated to WBA home, 16.00 2-10-19

Provisional MOTM to Bamford, that may change if another vote comes in.

No goal from open play by a Leeds player in 4 games..

Updated - awaiting QPR MOTM outcome and October POTM

We're a point ahead of last season, we need 2 points form the next two to add to that lead BUT last seasons long winning streak awaits

Did it in my head at the time and quickly...I might take another look but the 83 is what we got last season

So far we've turned 2 draws into victories compared to last season but we need 11 pts from the next 5 to equal last season which would be remarkable given we've won the last 5 and unbeaten in 8.

Always going to be tough to match last seasons 7 on the bounce at the same time. We may slip a point or two on last season before these next 5 games are done but last season games 25-28 did not go well for us once we had that winning run snapped

C25. Leeds United 0 Hull 2
C26. Nottingham Forest 4 Leeds United 2
C27. Leeds United 2 Derby County 0
C28. Stoke City 2 Leeds United 1

Potential there to make up some ground

Leeds have conceded just 0.53 goals per game this season

(10 goals in 19 matches)

No side in Europe's top 5 leagues or the top four tiers of English league football has a better defensive record in 2019/20. 👊

We amassed 35 pts in the 2nd half of last season compared to 48 in the first half.
A pt at Fulham on Saturday will draw us level with last season's halfway mark. We just need to improve slightly on last season's 2nd half and we should be ok. The teams below us would need a huge turn around in form and pts per game over the last 23 to beat us into the top 2. It's all possible but once again it is well and truly in our own hands.

And looking at those 10 game splits from last season there wasn't a big drop off first 20 to second 20, it was just the nasty final 6 that got us last season
