I read somewhere that Leeds are the most away drawn team in the cup in recent times.

When we played in 2011 we were given 9,000 for a Saturday lunchtime KO, Snodgrass penalty gave us the lead before a late equaliser saved their blushes. We lost the replay 1-3

Why is it we always get these top 6 teams away and never at home?

It will definitely be televised, along with Merseyside derby, Wolves v Scum, Boro v Spurs and Chelski v Forest.

An away day in London.

Lots of reasons for optimism then :roflmao:

Perfect draw to raise our profile. Bielsaball in front of a large TV audience.

A big game and throwback to the good old days to be sure, but how seriously should we take this game? Were we lower in the table I'd be all for giving it a good go but when the stakes are playing at the Emirates in the league next season, to make this a big fixture among many instead having to go to bloody Huddersfield afterwards...I don't know.

It is a week until our next fixture home to Wednesday. Although things are busy before that game.

Plenty of time for our boys to recover.

There's not one first team player that won't want to play in this.

They could be playing there next season too if they can finish the job off.

We've drawn Spurs, Man Ure & Everton at ER in the cups.

It will probably be moved to Monday for TV and wendies could be on a Friday, as Sky will no doubt move it.

Drew Spurs and Man Yoo away too. Liverpool both home and away. Chelski just at home. We've had Arsenal away 3 times in 10 years in the 3rd round.

Confirmed that it’ll be played on Monday 6th KO 7.56pm live on BBC,all games kicking off 1 minute later than scheduled as part of a “take a minute” campaign to think about mental health.
Last time we played at the Emirates in the cup it also KOd on a Monday night with Thierry Henry coming off the bench to score the only goal of the game.

Ticket details to follow
