Just back from the Kingspan Stadium after watching Ulster beat a very strong Clermont side in the European Cup.
It was the most bruising match I have seen with the Ref getting close to losing control.
He also gave Ulster a try using the rugby VAR which was an I possibly then handed Clermont a penalty try for alleged persistent obstruction of the pitch.
Thankfully a very noisy crowd roared Ulster on to their second close win in this competition in 7 days.

Christmas shopping in Beverley, Jill's main present purchased
Did some shopping in York last week, and a bit in Matlock today. Finally got the twinkly lights for around the fireplace that I've been meaning to get for the last three years, and a bottle of port.
this Morning Mrs H heard on the local radio that Robert Plant and his new band were playing in Salisbury civic hall this evening, and promptly bought tickets
So tonight I am off to see Saving Grace play lots of old American songs that I have never heard of before...
Looking forward to it
