Fine comeback from the Aussies to win 3-2. Woeful defending from Brazil with flapping Barbara between the sticks looking a bit of a clown. Very flat 2nd half performance from the Samba girls

Marta's fitness obviously a problem as she is withdrawn at half-time
Thats a shame, dont think she is that old either, basically the Pele of Women football by all accounts.

This game is like watching Leeds

England

0-0

76% possession
Missed a penalty
Missed several chances
10 shots
3 on target
Good saves from Argi keeper

The two blondies are quick & our No.2 Bronze reminds me of Luke Ayling in the way she plays

She got a bun??

is she missing half the game?

does she run up and down the touchline and send shots over the stand?

Always nice to beat Argentina.

Also nice to secure a spot in the knockout stage before having to play Japan.

Interesting that the save of the tournament is a save you'd expect every league goalkeeper to make right through the divisions...Also see there's a movement to make pitches smaller to cut down on the frequent giving away of possession.

Are you referring to our best attacking wing-back

Brazil v Italy

Good attacking game

Brazil will have to defend better than they did in their last game with this Italian side.

Wonderful back heel flick from Brazil's de Oliveira producing an instinctive save from Italy's keeper

Not seen it yet Swannie

Only watching the 2nd half as I'm just back from bowls on a lovely warm evening for a change

Super game 64. Mind you, it's like watching our lot. Need 200 chances to score one goal! On saying that, Japan's goalie is having one of those 'daft' games where she can't do anything wrong...
