Roofe 36 on target 14 goals

that is 1 goal every 2.5 shots

just imagine if he was fit all season, and Harrison could cross the ball all season....

I think Pontus will leave in the summer, he is certainly good enough for the Premiership and anyone saying him leaving is a good thing is lying. But I hope if he does go that it is sorted early in the summer so we can prepare. Bielsa if he stays will expect things to be done early so he can get in with working with the squad.
I don’t think Roofe wants to leave, I don’t think the club wants him to leave, but money talks so I guess it will boil down to the negotiation table, if he turns down what we offer I think he’ll be sold

Interestingly, we have the fewest clearances in the division. A lot of clubs have over 100 more clearances than us.

Fair play to Alioski. He always put in a shift!!!

If Cooper had cleared the ball instead of playing in the Derby striker we would be looking forward to a Wembley visit. Perhaps not a great stat.

herefordbornleedsboy wrote: Mon May 20, 2019 1:12 pm For the reasons stated elsewhere not a mistake not to play him. We had just kept a clean sheet away from home for the first time in a while. Berardi has been instrumental in that. We dont know what level of fitness Jansson was at. However i think it would be a HUGE mistake to sell him unless a ridiculous offer comes in. £15-20m as we arent replacing that level of quality cheap. For my money id rather see a partnership of Jansson and a new centre half next season with Coops as backup. As good as Cooper has been this season. He does seem to lose his head on the big occasion

lets be honest in the first leg derby was absolutely awful . played far to deep and with nugent they had no real pace i think they didn't have one shot on goal. ...the second leg, derby was a different team and came at us and had a real go . our defence was all over the place and at these crucial times for me that's when we needed jannson to come on , our best defender by a mile . should beradi have started :duno: , but he should have been definitely replaced !
agree about cooper , would keep him as a fill in but have stated before i personally would ship beradi and kiko , both liabilities and are not good enough imo . .

Also shows the amount of times we must have played our way out of trouble or build an attack from defence.

Credit to Phillips.

Watching it back Ayling and Phillips were tracking back, and were level with Cooper.

To be honest, both could have got back in a position to block on the line if they had kept running.

Not sure where Berardi was

Yet on Twitter some fans are claiming Cooper is better than Jansson

Five days on and I am still struggling to believe we are not at Wembley next Monday.
What an absolute complete and utter balls up their first goal was.
I initially blamed Kiko but it was definitely Cooper's fault. He neither hoofed it away or left it for Kiko.
I don't think I will ever forgive him for that display.
I'm sure my fires will burn again once next season's fixtures are announced on 20th June but for now I continue to sulk.

And anyone who thinks we should sell Jansson should have their bumps felt.

Berardi was virtually in the left back slot.

Any more left, and Ayling would have been off the pitch...

Both Berardi and Ayling had time to sprint and cover the goal mouth imo

I've said all along if Roofe had been as relatively unblighted by injury as Sharp and Pukki he'd be 25+ goals. Even more if we had a left winger even half as good as Pablo on the right.

That gets worse every time I see it.

Yeah Beradi didn't do a lot wrong, was in position and almost got back for the block...Coop's error but he clearly thinks he can get there before Casilla does which compounds the initial error.
