The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 12th Feb)
Good Morning Everyone
According to The Times, Bielsa sent a 20-year-old intern to allegedly spy on their Championship rivals!
That involved the youngster visiting the local pubs of their upcoming opponents so that he could mingle with fans and the local media.
It’s intention was to gauge how fans would react during matches, whilst also attempting to observe opposition training.
There is still absolutely no evidence that suggests the young intern broke into the training ground.
You remember that Lampard accused the lad of hiding in the undergrowth with bolt cutter on him?
Again - complete fabrication. Derbyshire Police found a pair of secateurs in his car!
Who doesn't have a pair of secateurs in their car???
Hadi Sacko scored an absolute screamer on his Turkish Super Lig debut yesterday
Sacko fired in a sublime effort from 25 yards out to help earn Ankaragucu a 3-0 victory over Kasimpasa.
Apparently he'd been saving this strike up for 24 years!
Carlos Coberan’s table topping U23s are away to Sheffield Wednesday at 11am this morning. I'm sure we all wish them well!
Swansea Manager Graham Potter had his presser a day early and revealed that tup scorer Oli McBurnie is a major doubt for tomorrows crunch game at Elland Road. The ex Leeds youngster has 15 goals and 4 assists to his name this season!
Second top scorer Celina is currently on 5.

Hi EB
Don't worry Graham, we already know about McBurnie wink wink
See not only is Bielsa a great coach, but he's doing something to fight youth unemployment.

Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.

I wonder when CJay is going to be hauled over the coals for spying on other fans forums.

I actually think Cjay is a double agent working for all the other championship clubs to spy on us. I also heard a rumour he had pinking shears in his glovebox.

Again though nothing untoward. The only thing that I feel would be worthy of investigation would have been if we'd been paying opposition staff (especially players) for inside information or bugging the opposition in some way. No suggestion that anything like that has happened and there has been previous examples - bugging has been done previously and I don't think there was any punishment meted out, or if there was it was a paltry fine, and also there was a case where a player had leaked info (and not even talking about when Shaun Derry was suspected of telling the oppositon our line up when Denis Wise was our manager) and again similar if any punishment.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 8:12 am Good Morning Everyone

It just seems ridiculous.

Morning EB1 and Everyone,
The whole 'spygate' saga has gone beyond a joke now as I expressed quite vociferously in the 'spying' thread yesterday.
The quick the EFL decide on what they intend to do the better so everyone can move on.
It will be interesting to see who plays for the U23's this morning. I expect it will include those that didn't play on Saturday for at least part of the game?
There's no doubt McBurnie is Swansea's main threat but I'm confident we can win whether he plays or not.
I just the script isn't written and Dan James goes and gets the winner for them....

Evening Chilli D, disappointing result for our U23's today.Chilli D wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 11:52 am Morning EB1 and Everyone,

I dunno... shrinking pears? The mind boggles.

If we're still in the top 2 after the run of four games that sees us play WBA, Bristol City and Sheff Utd, then I think we'll do it
