Makes sense and I really hope you're right mate.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sat Jan 12, 2019 8:11 pm I suspect Radz and Bielsa will have spoken.
It was clear from the interview that Bielsa has decided to take full responsibility and this statement only follows through on that. It distances the club from any potential sanctions and lays the responsibility square on Bielsa.

Re: Spying Accusation !!!
We're just complying with protocol while sniggering at the league ...nothing to see here.

Re: Spying Accusation !!!
I had a look around for the FA handbook and the rules about fair play.
It is all very nebulous and nothing very concrete and certainly nothing
about spying
FA rule book Section E Misconduct: Paragraph 3

Re: Spying Accusation !!!
If the league decide to do anything as bullish as dock points, I suspect Radz would take them to court over it... He can be pretty firey when it comes to things he thinks are wrong, and there would be no precident for them to take action against us.
I don't think it would derail this team though, to be honest. Everything that's been thrown at them, they've dealt with so far... Think being wronged by the league would only galvanize the group.

Journos on Sunday Supplement saying it goes on at all levels and one of them said he's spoken to British managers who have admitted to spying. Also Colin once sent his physio to listen in on a HT team talk when he was at the blunts and nothing was said. They also mentioned Mourinho and Lampard pointing out his hypocrisy.

Was wondering, as Frank went to great lengths to make sure journalists knew about this because it is so wrong and as accused Bielsa of cheating, To show his disgust will he be handing back the medals he won at Chelsea, while it was going on, after all he won them while the club cheated.SG90 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 11:05 am Journos on Sunday Supplement saying it goes on at all levels and one of them said he's spoken to British managers who have admitted to spying. I really hope someone asks him about that in his next press conference when he'll be crying about Bielsa, but sadly no one will have the balls to.gessa wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 11:56 am Was wondering, as Frank went to great lengths to make sure journalists knew about this because it is so wrong and as accused Bielsa of cheating, To show his disgust will he be handing back the medals he won at Chelsea, while it was going on, after all he won them while the club cheated.
Re: Spying Accusation !!!
Just read that Garry Monk was crying about sportsmanship and fair play about spygate. Yes Garry, nothing more sportsmanlike than time wasting, diving, constant fouling etc. The same Garry Monk who was being tapped up by Boro while we were chasing promotion.
Had enough of these hypocrites bandwagon jumping on something that doesn't concern them.

Saw that SG. They were very coy in the way they responded to this as they are the biggest 'spies' in footballSG90 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 11:05 am Journos on Sunday Supplement saying it goes on at all levels and one of them said he's spoken to British managers who have admitted to spying. Its become like the twilight zone, got Stan Collymore going on about "integrity" and Gazza as the voice of sanity.
Peeking around forums theres mainly a shrug and support for Bielsa from Manchester United and City fans, Liverpool fans, most fans of other clubs and a lot of Derby fans tbf.
Fowler, Sherwood, Neville, Gazza, Linekar, Jon Walters, Carragher, Charlie Nicholas etc all supporting Bielsa.
And Chris Wilder, respect went through the roof for Chris Wilder.

Re: Spying Accusation !!!
The better the player the less they think its an issue. And the better the team they played for the more willing they seem to be to suggest it has always been going on.Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 2:13 pm Its become like the twilight zone, got Stan Collymore going on about "integrity" and Gazza as the voice of sanity.

Average players now trying to make a name for themselves as pundits, they are the ones who seem to be outraged.
Re: Spying Accusation !!!
I think it's more to do with Jenas being a Forest fan and Collymore a Villa fan, two teams outside the top 6 and hoping we're being docked points to help them.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 2:52 pm The better the player the less they think its an issue. Title winners, Champions League winners like Carragher, Neville, Nicholas, McManaman, Owen, Sutton there not fussed.
Top class players like Gazza, Linekar etc.
It seems to be the nearly men like Jenas and Collymore who are outraged.
But even they are in the minority, Jon Walters, Matt Upson, Gary Taylor Fletcher, David Preece, all not fussed.
I think it helps that its Marcelo Bielsa, a man almost universally adored and admired, adds to his mystique.

Re: Spying Accusation !!!
Possibly would suggest that at the highest levels of football spying goes on routinely. Would certainly expect the likes of Fergie to be looking to gain any advantage and leaving no stone unturned. It was under Fergie that MU moved from their training base at The Cliff, in Salford, which was completely open to the public and moved to Carrington with huge fences, security guards etc.

Fergie had a helicopter to spy on Man City's training before the derbyweasel wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 3:28 pm Possibly would suggest that at the highest levels of football spying goes on routinely. Just read this from the Man U site folks

Even their fans think it's all a storm in a teacup & questioning Lampard's morality
Fat Frank is getting some right stick

Love how it's blown up right in his face. Serves him right.

I love this comment
"In a world where players dive, players get opposition sent off or booked, purposely run down the clock, waste time, feign injury.... spying seems pretty tame.
Franky the fatty should just eat a cream puff and he’ll be fine"
