Similar songs, both good but both not the bands best work....Romeo and Juliet suffers more as it's not on the debut where the real quality lies..That's where we first hear Knopfler's genius on the guitar ...

Love all five songs in the Grand Final

'Romeo' is a fantastic song off the 'Making Movies' album

Like Faaip I recall early Dire Straits with their massive selling debut album, great shop music
& never tired of it hearing everyday during the summer of '78

Actually I'm surprised 'Romeo' has done so well as Faaip is the only one who has often discussed Dire Straits in the past, also no one has ever nominated their albums in the Prem/Champs poll.

Pleased Knopfler's band is getting some exposure on here
