I thought in big spells we've looked a bit flat tonight, only for PNE being shite.

FT 3 - 0, fully deserved, could have had a few more. Couple of sketchy patches at the start of each half but some quality football at times and pretty comfortable overall.

Just realised these commentators are Preston. So nice to hear the colour man describe our first half performance the best he's seen v Preston for many a long year

great win - 3-0

I was in and out of that but I felt

PJ looked a lot more comfortable on the ball
Best I've seen Kalvin play
Roberts' finishing very good today

But as Isay very patchy viewing so no rankings or MOTM from me

Was just about to post that the spine of our team played really well. Some good communication between BPF and the two CBs.

Only managed to see from just before Roberts' second, so u pretty much saw us see it out. Walking pace at the end just knocking it around, but then still creating a chance after a minute of possession... Reminded me of that 40-odd pass Argentina goal from a few world cups ago.

It's great to see Roberts make the step up so quickly. Went from getting in the right positions vs Millwall to two top finishes today - he's clearly got confidence!

Hard being out for a year, especially at a new club, but tonight should give him loads of confidence.

Had to work all day, so I couldn't see - or even listen to - the game.

Truly appreciate the running commentary. I got a really great fell for what went on today from reading all your comments.

Thanks to all.

I couldn't get tonight but managed to watch 2nd half on Sky. We looked good and Roberts took his chances well, what a prospect for the future to possibly have Roofe, Bamford and Roberts competing for the striker role !!.......Happy Days :)

Usually I'm depending on our brilliant commentary team on a Saturday John, so hopefully for once I was able to help 'give something back' this evening :)

Slip sliding away, the nearer you get to Saiz the more he is slip sliding away.
He was unplayable tonight. King of the park, so many glorious passes.

That ball for Roberts first was pinpoint from 40 - 50 yards with perfect pace.....defensively he’s everywhere - will be getting my vote.
