Re: Patrick Bamford Injury
I agree with those who want to use those who we have.
If they're good enough they're old enough, plus we cement them to us instead of some other club.

Don't think MB will do it any other way tbh, new player into his system takes 4-6 weeks minimum anyway

Re: Patrick Bamford Injury
Shame for Bamford, hopefully he's a fit lad who gets back to match fitness quickly. Could still be the fresh impetus we need second half of the season.
I'm also with Cjay and faaip on this, big opportunity for young Clarke to cement a place in the first team squad. Bielsa must be aware of what he's capable of through CC, though knowing MB, he's probably watched him himself

That's right Leon, what a finish and what a hug.

Re: Patrick Bamford
Great strike and great reaction from Bielsa.
We could have Brown and Bamford fully fit for the busy Christmas period.

Re: Patrick Bamford
Fantastic strike and yes, what a brilliant reaction from our coach and I'm so pleased for Bamford
Re: Patrick Bamford Injury
I'd imagine he treats his players like his family
Now which legendary manager did the same............
Re: Patrick Bamford
Patrick tore another ligament in his knee in training, thats why he is injured.

Re: Patrick Bamford
Bit of Paddy bashing going on on social media i noticed.
Not having that.
Bamford has scored goals for 2 of the most negative managers in Championship history, Karanka and Pulis.
He got 7 in 11 last season for Pulis when started as a striker.
Minutes per goal is better then 1 in 2 during his career.
Roofe had 1 in 6 before Bamford got back fit.
1 in 8 in total.
Since returning from injury Bamford has 1 goal every 184 minutes.
A guy who has had 2 ligament injuries in the same knee in the same season, what did people expect he'd return and turn into Harry Kane straight away?

Re: Patrick Bamford
Things fall into place and he scores at least 2 last night, it will come together for Bamford
Re: Patrick Bamford
I think he's bound to be a bit fearful of another injury to begin with. Hopefully it will all fall into place for him and Leeds United

Re: Patrick Bamford
Same as any striker he can go on a bad run, unfortunately it has coincided with everyone else in the team not scoring either.

Re: Patrick Bamford
We desperately need Bamford to start scoring again, as its gonna be a while until Roofe is back, and our chances could be done by then.
Someone needs to start putting our chances away, starting tomorrow against WBA.
If Bamford does start scoring it could change the complexion of our run in.
At the moment things are not looking good, but a bit of skill, or good luck, could change all that in a few seconds.
Lets pray that we start scoring again - come on Patrick.

Re: Patrick Bamford
Although he does have 2 in just over 4 games which is about par for a striker.
The problem isn't just about Bamford, it is that the rest of the forwards are toothless at the minute.

Re: Patrick Bamford
Yeah, one of them was a penalty and the other when the game was already done against Norwich. But I do have a feeling that he will come good very soon.
Very true that the others were chipping in, but now that's gone quiet too - Ali's against Bolton was a fluke and a half, but looks like we'll need plenty of luck to get promoted.
Not seeing anything like the menace or free flowing football we carried early in the season, the exception being the Derby performance, which was statement that we haven't backed up since then.
