Morning faaip, I think its a social media problem, not just twitter. Leeds fans do seem to be quite unforgiving...

I could understand fans having a gripe last season as much of our football was abysmal with zero entertainment.

This season is quite the opposite & our fans should be lapping up our performances.

I'm still buzzing about some of our play v Rotherham, we've not seen anything like it since our premiership days

Good morning Matt,

Some humans are unable to go through day to day life without negativity, it is a psychological condition, typically associated with a deep seated personal unhappiness and discontentment in life as a whole. Unfortunately social media has given these individuals a far reaching platform in which to vent their negativity. As a sports personality you will obviously scour the media and social platforms to glean feedback and tit bits about your standing and performance in the public eye. Sadly negative lambasting will effect your mental psyche, and thus your self confidence and ultimately your performance. For me, Kalvin Phillips epitomises what the majority of sensible Leeds United supporters seek in a player wearing the white shirt. In my eyes as a young adult, he carries him self with personal and professional dignity, integrity at all times. His hunger and willingness to keep on learning under the guidance of an experienced, competent coach in Bielsa can only improve him further. I can only shake my head when I hear impetuous comments about him not being good enough to wear the shirt and childish comments about his hairstyle.

Coops - Another target for the boo boys, most of my above comments relate to him too. For goodness sake let us get behind the team and build their confidence.

Height - I have trust in the Bielsa and the board to know what they are doing.

Swansea - A young team, new manager, still trying to find their groove, who without the instability of their club ownership, could well be challenging for a top 6 finish. I believe that we are playing them at the right time, as they will no doubt at some stage in the season rise to their potential, (bar the club selling more talent).

I was under the impression that Ridsdale's fish tanks, (one in the board room, and one in his office), equated to GBP200 per year.

Morning AZ, we've seen the likes of Tom Lees and in particular Sol Bamba's confidence fall apart during their latter tenures at ER, but flourish at their new clubs - surely the abuse they received on social media must have played their parts.

Morning Leon, would we have been able to beat Derby had we played at the level we did on Saturday?

Different type of game Matt. The onus was on the rams to attack being the home team giving us plenty of space to show off our fancy shills whereas the Millers parked a bus in their half & we had to be patient in our play creating opportunities with our pass & move game. It was no good reverting to lumping the ball in the air as Rotherham are a big team, in the end we won comfortably

Hi Matt - Yes in an ideal world, although can't see how that can be accomplished. Not my specialism, I don't subscribe to anything online other than this forum.

Do the EFL have rules on such things?
It's very pre-LGBT and maybe should be frowned upon. It's not homophobic but rather designed to make straight guys uncomfortable. Amidst all the LGBT stuff don't straight guys have rights too. I wonder how Norwich would feel if a couple of small cans of black paint were to be smuggled in and the walls defaced.

Anyone who is made uncomfortable by the colour of the walls needs to have a long hard look at themselves. Would be amazed if this works, and to be honest would be surprised if there's any hard evidence that it has been effective in the past.

Morning 60's, I did notice for the first time Bielsa got off his bucket to yell something at the players. Obviously our form dipped a little on Saturday. Do changes need to be made for tomorrow in your opinion?

I think that I would give Alioski a rest, not due to fatigue but he, imo, didnt have much influence on Saturday, maybe time for the young lad from Citeh to be given a chance.

Playing it out from the back the way we do is not without risk. However, that is the ethos of the manager, and you just have to look at the second goal to see the benefits. No risk, no reward.

For all the twitter idiots - Cooper 91% pass completion rate, Phillips 88% pass completion rate (from 118 passes, the most of any player in the championship in a single game so far, including a lovely pass for the assist for the second goal). Nuff said.

Barring injuries, we should keep the same team for Swansea, and I am expecting victory, as I believe that Swansea will allow us to play more.

Norwich's pink away dressing room is not doing them much good so far.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has revealed that he had shortlisted Antonio Conte, Claudio Ranieri and Roberto Martinez for the Whites managerial vacancy earlier this summer before appointing Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road.

The Italian, who was speaking to Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport, says that former Chelsea managers Conte and Ranieri were priorities for the club even admitting he would have offered the former €20 million to take over in West Yorkshire.

Belgium boss Martinez was also a target but complications struck with the World Cup before Radrizzani landed the Argentine who he was told would be "impossible" to get through the Thorp Arch doors.

"Conte [was on the list] and with him, we would have been certain of promotion to the Premier League," Radrizzani told La Gazzetta dello Sport report ESPN. "I would even have offered him €20 million. Then I interviewed [Claudio] Ranieri who was attracted by our interest, but declined as he was waiting for a call from a top-flight club. I even spoke to [Roberto] Martinez, but Belgium were an obstacle.

"At the end of May, I spoke with our director of football [Victor] Orta and he said Bielsa would be ideal, but that it would be impossible [to get him]. Those words just motivated me even more and we negotiated for a few days then reached an agreement at £3m, which he shares with his staff, and a one year plus one year option as duration.

"We finished negotiations after ten hours of conversation in Buenos Aires. He'd studied 20 of our games and already knew all the players, including the youngsters. It seemed impossible to get him here, but he's our top player.

We are a Premier League club, and even more so with him." Radrizzani also revealed that he wants top flight football sooner rather than later for Leeds, adding that if he can't achieve it he will return to Italy: "England is the ultimate and I'm aiming for the Premier League within 3-4 years, otherwise I might think about returning [to Italy]."

The difference between victory and defeat in many games of football are so small that any kind of psychological advantage is worth taking!

Afternoon Gandalf, I watched two of Swansea's games so far this season (on Sky). They were very lucky in both games to draw and win. Both results could have gone against them had the Blades and Birmingham had their striking boots on.

Hi Matt.

I'm not convinced. Would like to see his numbers as I say. Having studied behaviour, it seems unlikely to me that it would have a universal effect on a team - it's probably just as likely that a player would be buoyed by the colour!

Think you'd be better off turning the thermostat down 5 degrees if you want a marginal effect on the game.
