There is certainly a trend of more outgoings then incomings. Surely there will be a lot of nervous professional footballers not knowing whether their futures are secure. Worst bit of business this transfer window is Saints agreeing to pay Liverpool 18m for Danny Ings after his season long loan - what are they thinking?

What has been your favourite Leeds kit and why?

Do you still buy / wear your Leeds shirt?

Evening Harry, there's a fine line pal. We are living within our means and the club accounts look healthy...

Kit wise any of the 60/70's ones before the advertising and never liked any of the yellow or blue kits. Best all white with advertising was the Packard Bell one and best away strip was last seasons silver and black/grey for obvious reasons

WOW EB, I assume you cut and pasted that info, if not you certainly did your homework.
There was some good deals there, would have loved to have got Hugill and it was a shame we couldn't get Bartley back.
Personally I think we conducted the championship deal of the summer getting Douglas for 3m.
I still can't believe Wolves let him go - what were they thinking?

Good afternoon everyone

Yep Klich returning under a proper coach + Douglas an absolute bargain + appointing a top drawer coach in Bielsa are unbelievable deals especially when we are talking LUFC.

Both Bristol City & Middlesbro' have lost three big players from their squads

Wouldn't be surprised if the likes Bristol C, Brentford & Preston have made some shrewd signings as they generally do

Any all white kits from the 60/70's

I don't usually go a bundle on gimmick type of things however I really loved the 70's stocking tabs

I use to buy the shirts until the Bates era when football became more expensive paying £550 in the kop to watch championship & League One football. Also from 2005 I was in a position to go to every home & away game so something had to give financially.

Only top I've bought in the last twelve years was a blue collared top with white amblets & badge. I've worn it for most of the games over the last two seasons. Wore a cooler Crew t-shirt for the game v Stoke, far better quality than much of the merchandise in the club shop

What he said.

I rarely post to this thread, but I read it religiously. I find I learn a lot more about what's going on with Leeds, and the Championship in general, from reading this than I do from reading the YEP or looking at various web sites.

Many, many thanks to Ellandback1 for all the hard work.

As a recent addition to this forum and someone who doesn't get to ER much these days I think this is brilliant.
Hearing other people's opinions on all things LUFC is fascinating.

West Ham were supposedly interested in him and prepared to offer a big signing on fee. Rumours are he failed a medical though and joined us instead where the physical examination was conducted by BB in her shed. Details have yet to emerge as to how vigorous the examination was and what it revealed although video has emerged of him kissing the badge before being flogged.....
