He had agreed targets with the club, but when he got there found that there had been no conversations even started with any of the agreed targets. That is why he walked. It is plain to see that we have been talking to other clubs, and are stalling over transfer / wage demands. If clubs / players are pricing themselves out of a deal, then I am sure that Bielsa knows the constraints and finances that we are working under. TBH £11M fee and 40K pw wage is way over the top for Vydra
Way over the top.

We need to concentrate our efforts on other players then

Vydra is not the be all end all to future success, he didn't get Derby up. Still unconvinced we're even chasing him

Said we needed to improve 4 or 5 positions, as it is we have managed 1.

Whether he walks or not i dont know, but i don't imagine he is very impressed.
What will be will be Cjay

Either Radz & his team show ambition & bring in the 4 or 5 essential signings we require to make a serious challenge for a promotion place or we do very little & settle for the bottom half of the championship, maybe tinker with relegation looking at the current set-up, right now our squad lacks quality, pace, aggression & balls !

GK - BPF or Blackman (Chelsea), preferably BPF

RSS - Jansson or Halme
LIB - Bouy
LSS - Diaz or Cooper or De Bock

RWB - Ayling
CMF - Baker (Chelsea) or Vierra or Klich or Ideguchi or Forshaw
LWB - Pearce

ENG - Hernandez or Saiz

RIF - Alioski
LIF - Roofe or Saiz
STR - Roberts

with what we have at the moment

The trouble with a signing such as Vdyra is the combined amount of cash. Let's say £11m transfer fee and £40k p/w wages. Now given that he'd be a valuable asset you would think he'd be given at least a 3 year contract but more likely at least a 4 year contract so it brings the actual cost to nearly £20m. It also has the knock on effect of other players, either already at the club such as Jannson, or new signings wanting similar wages.

Loan signings can be a very good thing for the club if they are good enough. Huddersfield certainly got a great deal when they loaned Mooy from Man City and he was arguably the catalyst for them getting promoted. If we do sign Blackman then we are signing a keeper that has played a decent amount of games at our level so it isn't as much of a gamble as say signing a foreign keeper. Likewise our midfield signing has some experience of playing in the championship too .

I would love to see lifesize statues of various Leeds Utd heroes dotted around ER as if they were walking to the stadium. What a great way to get fans buzzing as they walked to the stadium alongside heroes.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has revealed Leeds United fans were "absolutely mental" during his visits to Elland Road throughout his career. Scholes, who was speaking as a pundit for beIN SPORTS following England's 2-0 victory over Sweden at the World Cup, revealed that he never felt intimidated during his career as a footballer.

The former England and Red Devils midfielder was discussing which team the Three Lions may prefer to face in the semi-finals believing that if Russia had progressed instead of Croatia the Moscow atmosphere wouldn't have been an issue for Gareth Southgate's men.

When quizzed over whether he had ever felt the pressure of an away crowd Scholes simply replied "no", before turning to fellow pundit and former Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson to back up his point with a smile. "We loved going to places where everyone is baying for blood," he continued.

"It's brilliant. You'd go to Leeds, I know it's on a domestic point of view... psychopaths! Absolutely mental fans. "But there's nothing better than going there and winning a game."

Premiership clubs, fans & Sky TV would love Leeds back in the prem

Who would Scum, Citeh, Scousers, Chelski, Gooners & Spurs rather play?

The likes of Bournemouth, Burnley, Watford or the Mighty Leeds ?

There would be only one answer for the majority of prem clubs, an extra twelve needle matches a season just for the six clubs mentioned

Evening Weasel, 40k a weeks and 11m, far too much. Look what happened to Villa! We've been in that situation, and we don't want to go back.
