Chatter on twitter that Pep has informed 4 of his youngsters to be ready to go on loan to us if we ask.

Angus Gunn-Gk did well for Norwich last season.
Lukas Nmecha-forward of German birth but England youth international.
Tosin Adarabioyo 6ft5 cb handed a big deal by City last year.
Brahim Diaz- Probably the best known, made double figures in apps for city first team last season, tricky Spanish midfielder.

Rumours come from the City end so fingers crossed.

Loan to buy or just borrow for a season? ...I hate progressing other teams players. I doubt they'll be playing much for the U23's ...so if true that's already 4 new first team squad members

That would be awesome for the upcoming season but as faaip said, I would be worried if we somehow get to the Premier League and then we have to hand back 4 of the players who got us there.

I'm not sure Gunn is better than BPF, both around the same age so we can't use the experience card there. Norwich weren't that good in defence last season either, probably worse than us with a stable set up and not 3 GK, 5/6 full backs and god knows how many centre backs

Think its just a loan.

But part of the City business plan i assume is sign talented youngsters, loan them out, sell for a profit so wouldn't rule out a purchase.

Not on Diaz though, by all accounts he was going to be around the 1st team so if he comes i assume thats a favour to Bielsa.

Agreed. But in our position dont think we can afford to be to picky unfortunately.

If City are willing to let 4 of there best come then yay.

If we get promoted then maybe down the line a transfer can be done?

Gotta get promoted first.

Afternoon Cjay, its almost impossible for anybody, however good they are to break into the Citeh side. A youth player displacing a 30,40 or 50m player - very rare....

Gunn is far better than BPF.

Though the comments about training up other teams players is true

Hi Ell

True, but seems Pep has taken a real shine to him according to the city fans, maybe as the heir to David Silva?

All rumours but could be our Diogo Jota loan perhaps.

I understand Leeds United are considering a draft of a contract sent by ex Argentina & Chile boss Marcelo Bielsa who is in talks to become the #lufc new head coach. The draft was sent in the early hours of this morning. Bielsa’s camp say “the ball is in Leeds United’s court.”

Quite a few sources saying 1 year deal with a 1 year extension option, Newell Fc for one, another Argentinian Football expert dude to saying the same thing.

Smart if true

Basically one season or bust ...I'd have preferred a longer contract. Don't see him here year 2.

So he's basically employing us?

Better to have a manager telling Orta and Radz how things shall be then them telling him ?

We tried them telling a manager what to do last season, time for role reversal.

Good coaches make demands, PE teachers just nod and say yes to anything.
