I'd probably start with Roofe as lone striker but not much in it

I’d be happy with Roofe in there but Ekuban would be fine just hope it’s not that useless lump Lassie

I agree, there is a chance that Roofe and Ekuban will both be here next season, and not Lassie

Rather see Grot get a start up front then any of the other 3 tbh.

Lassie awful vs Sunderland.
Roofe no impact whatsoever.
Ekuban has had a few chances.

Why not Grot?

As our hierachy refused to recruit enough defenders, its only fair to see how the team would line up if we didn't have to put square pegs in round holes or recruit from our academy, which if truth be known, why a few of these lads had not been training with the first team after Christmas is a travesty.

Looks like we're going for the trusted 2/1/4/3 formation, rarely used in the Championship

Are we already preparing for the inevitable ?

We could have got away with playing two Anita's for the price of one.

Do you remember half way through the second half against the Mackems. They had a dangerous free kick which 91 out of the 92 league teams would have swung into our box.

Heckingbottom decides this is a great time to bring Anita on...

Then, Sunderland play it short :zip:

He has had more Championship starts then Lasogga this season and has a worse minutes per goal record then Grot.

If we are looking towards next season better off starting Grot or Ekuban imo.

All down to to two hat-tricks Hector

We haven't got a genuine prolific goalscorer

Remember recent times with the likes of Beckford & Becchio, both scored goals for fun, they were on the score sheet week in week out, not just now & again !

In league 1..Beckford never did it for us in this division, he wasn't good enough then

He did go & score goals in the prem & championship

Unfortunately serious injuries ravaged his career

Jermaine was a naturally goalscorer in his pomp

Love to see Pearce get a run between now and the end of the season. Hecks will probably play safe and go with Anita. Injuries pick the midfield. Stick with Ekuban, no point playing Lassoga any more. Roofe off the bench.

BPF; Dallas, Jansson, O'Connor, Pearce; Vieira, Phillips; Alioski, Saiz, Hernandez; Ekuban
