The point is we weren't far away from a decent side last season. Foolishly at the end of last season I believed three more quality signings & we'd make a definite push for promotion this time round

Could do worse. He had our shower of brown stuff up top and near the top 6 most of the season.

Think come the end of the season we will all appreciate what he did more tbh.

Like to see him get another chance in England.

His arrival won't have had much to do with tonights score, he hasn't been there long enough to make a cup of tea. Ultimately you could be right but he's a decent manager given a chance

Boro's current position is down to the appointment of Pulis, now they did have a bunch of players under-performing after much investment last summer

It’s a bit depressing looking at the table as we continue to be overtaken by also ran teams which really sums up what we are.
Some people are still saying we can make the top 6 which imo is ridiculous as we have 11 games remaining = 33 points giving us a total of 82 and we’re going to lose a good number of games to the end of the season starting tonight. We’ll do well to get 65 points this season

Can you recall our conversations last season when we thought this would be our year Nick ?
We said at that time we required 3 or 4 decent signings to make us serious promotion candidates, unfortunately everything we wished for didn't materialise

All went pear-shape when we lost Monk, Bartley, Wood & Taylor

If you go back you'll discover the minute we let Monk go that we'd need at least one more rebuild season. It's probably going to be longer now that was a massive step back. Looks like Monks 75 points would easily make the playoffs this season..bad luck that
