24 points from 20 games ...the fact that we haven't fallen that far behind shows how bad this division is, any other year that's relegation form

I really hope that attendences don`t fall drastically...but expect that to happen and can understand it totaally in they do.
Hope the in charge people are capable of analyysing where and why things did`t worl in our favour this time round.
But still feel more optimistiic than the last x years....as Long as we don`t get relegated.

Okay Grulic should have been sent off, with all his bad fouls he should have picked up two yellows easily

But in the end we were awful, our defence looks like they are playing in slow-mo replay style.

Hernandez and Alioski have gone backwards.

faaip wrote:We like Jansson-injured
We like De Bock- still acclimatizing
Beradi is usually solid- solid but thats it, decent at this level nothing more.
Weidwald I'm told is good now- cant blame Weidlwad at all recently.
Pennington was one of the better players today after a dodgy start- still not a quality cb, ok as a squad player like Cooper

It should be a good defence
Its a weak defence, your two centre backs should be big barstewards imo, both Jansson and Bartley were big lads first and foremost.

They dominate the defence.

If your centre backs arent of that size and quality then you get bullied, like today.

We will lose atleast one key player, probably more, so it will be the exact same situation, unless they stop pishing about with signing kids and sign some proven quality.

Credit Cardiff they deserved to win.

but they are fouling gits.

This isnt bitterness talking, they niggle and foul and barge and push there way through.

the ref was so poor today, Alioski was kicked, Pablo was kicked, they booted them all game

True...Point being that if a bigger guy shoves and pushes it`s far less noticable than if physical shorter and weaker playsers do the same.

This just isn't the way the club is being run - you can't blame TC for this. It's nothing to do with not having the bottle to speak for himself, it's the European style - plenty teams do fine working this way.

Mathematically yes, so anything is theoretically possible but I very much doubt it.

This is going to be difficult to score

Weidwald - 6 - TBH didn't really notice him, butsaw him flap twice
Beradi - 2 - LB, RB CB, shuffle...lost it and got sent off though I thought he got the ball and Bamba's was much worse
De Bock - 7 - Seems legit and a good game
Pennington - 7 - Solid after a shaky start looked good bringing the ball out
Jansson - 5 - Got beat for the goal and then stretchered off...Can't see him back anytime soon

Alioski - 5 - Over eager, over complicated and short on confidence. But did get fouled all day
Roofe - 6 - Set up Lassoga with a nice cushioned lay off plus other good bits but again low on confidence and kicked off the park
Lassoga - 5 - Another curates egg, won't move which forces players to force the pass, and missed a sitter. Deserved to get subbed
Hernandez - 5 - Kept going all day but his passing was off and with a lazy Lassoga had no front man to target
Vierra - 4 - Another off day and has looked sluggish since his return. Also doesn't seem to work well with Forshaw, they occupy the same space
Forshaw - 8 - MOTM - but got very lucky with a wild lunge which would have seen a red card in the second half.

Dallas - 6 - Honest, one chance he couldn't quite get the right position for ...
Sacko - 3 - No time though
Grot - 4 - Introduced too late

Then there's no I haven't got the players defence and he is actually rubbish at the job.

Yeah, I was thinking more in regard to how we are playing right now, all the suspensions, hard opponents coming up etc.

True but we seem to be losing players rather than getting them back

This month is absolutely crucial. We have lost to one promotion rival and play four more - if you consider Brentford a promotion candidate. These games are six-pointers for us.

I`ve accepted our fate as finishing between 14 th and 8th at best.
We are just too weak in all depatements to have a realistic chance.
A bit early to admit defeat, maybe, but experience had tought me
not to believe in miracles when it comees to LEEDS UNITED.
