Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Ronaldo is maturing with every game, another top performance at Loftus Road
Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Much improved.
Won the ball back, retained possession when he could and wasnt afraid to drive forward.

He also gave the ball away far too many times as did all our players apart from Pontus who was easily our best outfield player yet againCjay wrote:Much improved.

Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Pure quality imo, don't think many passes went astray and defends every bit as well as Pontus

Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Didnt think he gave the ball away as much as some, besides whenever he does you can count on Ronnie to fight for it back.1964white wrote:He also gave the ball away far too many times as did all our players apart from Pontus who was easily our best outfield player yet again
Thought he was good imo.

I suppose Pablo gets all the praise for the splendour of his set piece goalCjay wrote:

It was a fine bit of pants pulling down shape shifting goalkeeper bamboozling
wizardry. I am still trying to work out the mechanics of it... the masonic handshakes
and the silly walks involving the referee. It was orchestrated to cause as much
confusion as possible in the end Bywater did not know if his arsehole was bored or punched.
Contrast that with the simplicity of the second goal. Viera wins the tackle. Takes a could of strides
and has his head up to see Roofe running into space. Viera squeezed the ball between the two
centre backs for Roof to run on to, and wham bam thank you mam the ball is in the back of the net.
If I were to be honest I would like to see more goals like that rather than the ones that take
and age to orchestrate

Glad someone else thinks so, he's the one player I'd take from the current squad if I could only take one. First name on my team sheetShields53 wrote:The lad is a superstar, maturity and ability beyond his years.

Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Amazing how weak, slow and poor our midfield looked without him.
Where were our centre mids when Jota had Berardi and Pablo standing off him?
Vieira would have been snapping at his heels.

Missed Vieira big-time today, an injury caused by a horrible tackle at Burton

yet to read their forum it would appear Vieira had dived....1964white wrote:Missed Vieira big-time today, an injury caused by a horrible tackle at Burton
Hopefully just a slight knock that will clear up in a few days as he is a huge part of our midfield. To buy a like for like player would cost serious money and if he progresses then he will be one hell of a player.
Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Horrible tackle, could have been a red. Ronaldo received treatment for three or four minutes, really surprised he managed to continue, obviously flared up badly to keep him out at Birmingham as he is a tough little cookieweasel wrote:yet to read their forum it would appear Vieira had dived....

Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Probably (hopefully) it is just a case of being badly bruised/swollen. As such it wouldn't have been too painful initially but then as the swelling increased in the day or two after the match it would have been too painful to run and maybe even walk. If it is ligament then hopefully with him being young it won't be too serious and with a few days/weeks rest it will be okay.1964white wrote:Horrible tackle, could have been a red. Re: Ronaldo Vieira
Just wanted to get Vieira and Klich together.
Thought seeing there names next to each other may inspire TC
But seriously, its amazing how much we have missed him.
Vieira plays, we win those games late December early January. Absolutely convinced

Re: Ronaldo Vieira
And we probably do better on our first slump...took a while to get Vierra into the team to staunch the bleeding
