Poor from O'Kane who as I've said before needs to be given space and time to play. Not sure what ayling was doing deep down the left there either

1-0 defeat. Not many with any credit there and first test of TC's management skills coming up, Millwall were poor but just out battled us in the trenches.

Not sure there are any positives there, second best all over the park. If they had been any good up top they could have had a hatful.

Millwall are rockin' all over the world.
Better team on the day.
Played better when Dallas and Roofe came on
Wasted lots of chances at the end with faffing
about instead of crossing into the big men Grot
and Lasogga.

Really big Thank You guys for that brilliant reporting. You performed a lot better than the players by the sound of it. Took me through the game as if I was watching it myself.

Well our first defeat had to come, sooner than I thought tbh.

That was Leeds of old

Where has our fluent passing gone ?

Hoof has returned

Played the ball backwards than forwards

Had several opportunities to get the ball into the box but fluffed our lines as we tried to walk the ball through their wall

Not a shot whatsoever, on or off target

Simply put an awful performance

Very poor mate as was Kevin Phillips whose old erratic form has returned :(

Ayling was awful, skinned time & time again, poor control of the ball, caught out of position too many times.....

They game was over as soon as Saiz was subbed....Christiansen's biggest mistake so far !

Weidwald - 6 - Too many errors for my liking and distribution poor, the saves he made, and there were a few were bog standard
Ayling - 7 - Worked hard, tried hard just didn't use possession well. Defensively sound
Janssen - 8 - Routed if he didn't start if that's an injury to keep him out a while we're in trouble
Shaughnessy - 5 - Not really a centre back, too inexperienced for the new den
Anita 5 - I would say skinned by Wallace constantly but whenever Wallace rampaged down our left Anita was nowhere in sight
Alioski - 5 - Millwall' tactics negated him, hopefully no one else picks up on that
O'Kane - 6 - Worked hard, lacks imagination
Phillips - 5 - The bad Phillips from last season
Hernandez - 6 - Started well and looked the best of our skill players, off too early imo
Saiz - 6 - Tried hard, little support from Lassoga or the midfielders behind him. That whole central area a disaster today
Lassoga - 4 - Fingers crossed his mind was in Germany, lost possession too easily, failed to find any space, non existent as a target man

Roofe - 6 - Not much he could do, not a right sided midfielder but one or two decent crosses but still running into dead ends
Dallas - 7 - Improved us a little and if we were going to score it was coming via Dallas.
Grot - 5 - Not much possession probably needs a spell in the U23's

Pointless having any big men in the box the way we fannied about with the ball. Lasogga & Grot had no service whatsoever !

Cant think of anything positive, Wiedwald made lots of saves, few punches clear.

Jansson did well although could have done more to stop there goal . And . . . Thats it

Faaip, disagree on Wiedwald, wasnt to easy to tell how good the saves were but he made them, if he hadnt it would have been 6 or 7. Thought he did ok with crosses to saw a few nice punches but was difficult on that stream

Millwall used blockers early in runs to slow down our speed, happened to Alioski a few times and Roofe twice, second time Roofe asked the ref for obstruction. It prevented us playing the ball in behind their defence for our speed guys to run onto ... big part of our game.
