if this has been treated as "theft" in using club money to purchase it... maybe its something he has had highlighted in the accounts?

David Haigh has resigned.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26995315

according to his statement - the loans made to Leeds united via his sports capital with be exchanged into shares and given to the fans..........

Statement screams of a man that was way in over his head and tried his best whilst getting no help from above.

Haigh makes a last bid to be a fans favourite
I have arranged for Sport Capital to convert some of the loans made to the club into shares and once complete, those shares will be given to the fans, so it truly will be the fans’ club.

As a slight aside, I can't help but wonder something...

While LUFC were employing the security sweep, what were the security Sooty and the security Soo doing?

Methinks Haigh is trying to go out as a good guy to the supporters. Give LUST a token share in the club, as he disappears back to the Middle East? I'm no financial expert on shareholding and such though, but if he owns shares, he can do with what he wants… sell them, give them away, keep them, use them to comb out Ken Bates beard.

I've just read a report on the Cellino-Leeds 'thing' in a link on the TEAMtalk webpage, which says that the top selling T-shirt at Leeds United carries the slogan:

2004 Premiership. 2005 Championship. 2007 Sinkingship. 2008 Abandonship.

Has anyone ever seen this t-shirt, or is a very clever figment of someones' imagination?
I never have!

They were hanging about round the back of the ground watching on their remote camera monitors whilst poor security sweep was desperately trying to work out who it was exactly that had their hand up his arse.....
