Doubt it fella they can afford to lose four or five games before we even get near them
They win Friday they are seventeen points clear

It's a funny old game, just because they're strolling it now, dosen't mean it will continue all season, that just won't happen, what it does give them is a comfortable cushion for when they do hit a sticky patch.
Six or seven points is a comfortable lead they are out of sight it won't happenmentalcase wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:05 pm It's a funny old game, just because they're strolling it now, dosen't mean it will continue all season, that just won't happen, what it does give them is a comfortable cushion for when they do hit a sticky patch.
If we were in their position, this is LU your'e talking about, we'd c**k it up no doubt.
Yeah you're probably right there fella we would probably miss out on goal difference or summatmentalcase wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:13 pm If we were in their position, this is LU your'e talking about, we'd c**k it up no doubt.
Yeah we win at Ipswich then lose at Stoke it's lack of consistency that will cost us fella even if we win at Leicester them and Ipswich are still comfortably in front
The mighty Leicester beat Huddersfield 1-0
I made 14 posts yesterday evening, hardly got response or a peep from anyone, mind you that's nothing new on the match day thread.mentalcase wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 10:27 am I see where your'e coming from sean, but myself, I go to game and normally stay out, that's why I wasn't posting till today, maybe same with a few more,
Leicester are efficient.geronimo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 12:51 pm We have maybe half a dozen players good enough for this league.maximum. We ain't got a team full of them , and that's the difference between going up and staying put we have far too many weak links in this side both in defence and midfield
Teams like Leicester on Friday will show you and many other fans on here the difference between a promotion winning side and a bunch of Wannabees fella
There is only one thing that determines who is the better side and that is the league table Leicester have won thirteen out of fourteen games. It doesn't matter what the score is it's points on the board that matters we couldn't beat Stoke sheff wed 1 0 against qpr give your head a wobble fellaSean_Nile wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:30 pm The mighty Leicester beat Huddersfield 1-0
we beat them 4-1. Must mean we are better than them.
The only time Leicester got beat this season was 1-0 by Hull. We held Hull to a 0-0 draw with10 men after Joe Rodon was sent off.
Must mean we are better than them.
Harry Winks' late goal gave Leicester a 2-1 victory over 10-man QPR... and we all know how bad QPR are.
I wouldn't say this is a glowing endorsement of Leicester's superiority or footballing prowess indeed all of their wins are oten by a margin of one goal... we have nothing to fear... indeed it is them that should fear us.

Defeats and draws create debate.
X did this should have done this.
Y and Z if they had done this and X did this then we score etc.
With wins what is the debate?
Cjay- Rutter played well didn't he.
Jay- Yes he did
End of discussion.
It doesn't matter what the performances are like they are getting results we ain'tCjay wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:39 pm Leicester are efficient.
They aren't blowing teams away with mesmerising football like a Man City of the Championship.
They are just putting in steady 7/10s whilst there players do the job efficiently (won't be a shock to know they are massively over performing xG).
And we aren't.
Little things like the goalie having an 83% save percentage compared to Meslier's 64%.
But our away setup is a concern as its perfect for Leicester.
Disagree on the players, they have have a slight edge over the pitch but we have a better front line.
I don't comment because I don't watch the games 64, I depend on the fab commentary on here....1964white wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:35 pm I made 14 posts yesterday evening, hardly got response or a peep from anyone, mind you that's nothing new on the match day thread.
It is noticable, match day threads are quieter when we win.
Strange, how tens & tens of Leeds fans on here don't comment on the match.
Far too busy today to get involved today :
Work this morning.
Coaching bowls this afternoon.
Wedding reception tonight.
See ya later!
We miss chance's for fun nearly every week but supposedly have one of the best forward lines in this league good sides would have gone out yesterday and stuck another two or three past Huddersfield they are cannon fodder in this leagueCjay wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:51 pm Disagree on the players, they have have a slight edge over the pitch but we have a better front line.
But I agree on the system, its consistent and familiar whereas we flick between one and another depending on whether its home or away.
Simple enough really, away from home we have dropped 10 points they haven't dropped any.
But definitely capable of beating them.
Bit harsh. Even by your standardsgeronimo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 2:15 pm We miss chance's for fun nearly every week but supposedly have one of the best forward lines in this league good sides would have gone out yesterday and stuck another two or three past Huddersfield they are cannon fodder in this league
Most teams are capable of beating each other in this league but Leicester are getting the job done, we are inconsistent
I agree we could go beat Leicester on Friday but the reality is it won't make a blind bit of difference come end of the season
