A bright start but poor since the first 20 minutes, given them more opportunities than they should have had, we haven't created anywhere near enough. Got away with it for the second.

Probably a good game to bring Dallas on, he needs a run out, swap for Sacko if he doesn't up his game.

Shocking performance, especially when you consider their position, we looked as though it was us that had the 10 men. The only good thing about that was 3 points. We need to play a lot better than that the next 2 league games or we'll get nothing, Monk didn't look impressed and rightly so.

Shameful

Deary me... that was hard work. Why can we never play against 10 men ?

Green 7 - Steady as he goes. Almost stopped their goal, plus a couple of great saves in the goalmouth melee at the end.
Ayling 6 - Didn't get forward as much as usual, couple of good blocks late on.
Taylor 8 - Excellent going forward and at the back, plus a good assist for the first goal. My MOM.
Bartley 7 - Generally solid except for the poor header that led to their goal.
Cooper 7 - Fitted in nicely and was cool on the ball.
Sacko 5 - Flits in and out of games, and doesn't make as many contributions as he should.
O'Kane 6 - Had a very good first half, but his passing went to pieces in the second half.
Phillips 6 - A mixed bag, but defensive midfield is his position.
Roofe 5 - A nice assist for the second goal, otherwise see the comments on Sacko.
Doukara 6 - Scrappy goal, but he put himself about. Surprised he was taken off.
Wood 7 - Couple of usual poor touches, but he worked really hard in attack and defence. Nice finish for his goal.

Dallas 5 - Little of note to mention.
Antonsson 5 - See Dallas
Berardi - No time
Delapsus Resurgam - When I fall I shall rise!

Pretty much what I felt about the game split between Bartley and Taylor for MOTM, I do wish Monk would have left Roofe on he needs game time and to gain in confidence, he seems to fit the 10 role much better than on the wing and if he keeps improving he's def one for the future

We are 5th ! God knows how on that performance, a stranger would have had great difficulty in deciding which of those teams had 10 men or which team was bottom of the league, we need to learn big style ! It simply was a case of 3 points is 3 points, no other pluses to be taken from this.
