Nothing wrong with that colour, better than that murky brown away shirt LUFC have been giving away in the 1000's

It definitely is going to be a rollercoaster ride this season as a new style, new formations and new players bed in. Like mentioned earlier despite Brighton having a new manager they have been playing decent football for a few years rather than Leeds who have been trying it for a month or so. All it needs sometimes is one player playing badly or not understanding his role and a whole formation can be screwed, and maybe in the players we have some players cannot do what a chosen formation demands.

As a team we lack pace on the ball. Doukara and Ajose look to be quick but not explosive but apart from that everyone else is fairly pedestrian. Any team can learn to pass it around but go nowehere unless they have at least 1 player that can unsettle the opposition by being able to beat a man and open up space. Even Man City look lost at times without someone like YaYa Toure who runs at people with pace and opens up space. Hopefully, if we sign him, this Adryan guy could be the player to do it for us.

As a fanbase though we have to be patient and realistic. Cos we beat Boro doesn't mean we're great and the whole team has clicked, and cos we lost to Brighton and Millwall doesn't mean they are the worst team ever. 46 games will tell us the answer. Hockaday isn't the worst coach/manager and he isn't the best but to call for his head after 4 matches is ridiculous.

Silvestri - not alot to do apart from the goals - 6
Byram - awful first half, better going forward - 5
Cooper - best defender on show - 6
Pearce - gave away needless free kick for 2nd goal - 5
Warnock - struggled - 5
Austin - tale of two halfs, woeful 1st, good 2nd half - 6
Bianchi - worst game in a Leeds shirt so far - 4
Murphy - a shadow of his best - 3
Tonge - nowhere near as commanding as in previous games - 4
Smith - given a three year contract & was outmuscled...a shocker - 2
Sharp - worked hard with little service...should never have been subbed - 5

Subs :

Ajoso - gave us a bit of pace & movement, not ready for the first eleven yet - 5
Poleon

So all other teams need to do is get a goalkeeper in a purple kit and a midfielder with a number 17 shirt
and we will have the old gypsy curse on us. I wonder how MC will react since he hates the colour purple and the number 17.

One thing about last nights game that annoyed me was the Boo's at the end of both half's. Good god it's only our third league game and only our 2nd loss out of four competitive games bloody hell let's give them a bit of a chance before we start to Boo them please. :duno:

Doubt it - Too much shyte at the club for too long. Manager/coach and his players give 100% every game for LUFC and they won't get booed. Any less and they will. Simple isn't it?
