At the minute? Thats being optimistic... Aside from the odd 5 minute spell in a couple of matches weve been dire all season...

As I saw it, Green lost the ball far too often early on and was responsible for the mix up which gave Derby the opening goal. He played like he still had a soft spot for the rams and while he ran around enthusiastically he brought nothing to the team yesterday, as for Austin I liked him when he arrived at Leeds but he huffed and puffed all game with a couple of optimistic long range attempts thrown in. The only things that made the journey worthwhile were Mowatts performance, this young lad is pure class who makes the game look easy, his running to create space and ability to pick out little chipped passes into the box make him a joy to watch. This is what the rest of the team seem to be doing, watching him, looking on in awe of our youngest player. They should be helping him develop not the other way round . I thought Tonge put in a decent shift and even showed some pace in the 2nd half to stop a Derby breakaway. Another plus,as always the fantastic support from the near 4000 who saw an under par performance.

Once again we witnessed a really poor performance from United the midfield was over-run the attack well we did not have one.The defence 3 goals conceded tells the story one pass took 3 United players out of the game for one goal.We lack leadership i dont think Austin deserves his place never mind been captain. All i can say before long the fans will turn and mcDermott may not have seen anything like it.We all know GFH are short on money but players should give us more than they are.
Kenny 4 Looked uncertain
Peltier 4 Looked lost
Lees 5 Made some good blocks
Pearce 5 Got his head in well for the goal
Warnock 4 Got forward but not great in defence
Austin 3 His run of poor form continues
Green 4 Made no impression
Tonge 8 Un-Lucky to subbed
Mowatt 6 Started well but tired should have been taken off
Hunt 3 Must be a good friend of McDermott
McCormack 4 his poor form is a worry

Subs
Smith 3 Not in the game
Poleon 3 Did nothing
Diouf 3 Could have come on earlier
