Just went I thought "why is it we never have a Zaha or an Ince or anyone like that?", Sam Byram pops up and is getting watched. He's literally come out of nowhere, forced the manager to pick him week in, week out and made a name for himself. History and club "size" suggest we should be at an advantage when it comes to holding a player like this down. Fortunately bates no longer has control.
