The LUFC kit woman just called the cops to ER! She was putting Samby's shorts in the wash and Zaha popped out of a pocket.

Hearing Thomas got MOTM today. Surely Byram was, from reports I hear? :duno:

Thought Thomas started well but looked nacked before HT, got his second wind and looked dangerous second half he can only get better, Tate looked solid throughout, Lees OK(interesting too see who will be the CB pairing when Pierce is back) Norris great engine but too many attempts at fancy passing when simple will do, thought Tonge had a good game (in patches) and Byram did OK against an England international, Diouf did what Diouf does fell over a bit, but still our most creative player showed glimpses of a good link up with Thomas, good poachers goal from Becchio, but don't feel him and Diouf up top are the business, Peltier was OK today and put the cross in for opening goal, Kenny chipped in with a vital double save in first half, Green worked hard rewarded with a deflected winner, they should have had a penalty right on HT, and when they scored it was squeaky bum time again (Poleon at fault for goal allowing winger to cross all too easily), was under the cosh last 5mins Tonge cleared one off the line and Brown with one fantastic tackle ,crowd great today  overall very promising but one swallow and all that so don't get carried away folks, BTW only 6pts off the play offs

Warnock said in his post game interview with YR that Haig and Patel made it possible to get the two new lads in on time as there were "complications", that they smoothed over.

Improvement already. Bate would have told the players and their "blood sucking agents" to eff off...and end of.
It seems the new guys know how to negotiate.

Much better performance from the lads full of hard endeavour, showing resolution & sheer determination against a very good pacy passing Palace side...held on grimly at the death due to poor substitutions from our leader once again, once he took off Thomas & Diouf off we lost control of the game, conceded & looked fortunate not to do so again as mass panic set in in our attempts to contain the Palace attack.

Kenny 8 - superb double save & other stops too

Byram 8 - such a mature head on young shoulders as he had to keep the wonderful talented Zaha at bay - MOTM

Lees 7 - better with the experienced Tate alongside him

Tate 8 - marshalled the defence well, reads the game well. Runs & looks like Kilgallon from the stands

Peltier 7 - one of his better games

Tonge 6 - struggled to impose himself in the game, good clearance off the line near the end

Green 7 - his best game in a white shirt & a goal too !

Norris 7 - tireless worker

Thomas 8 - excellent link up play with Diouf, a player on the same wavelength who anticipated El Hadji's slick passing with his pace & movement

Diouf 8 - rarely gave the ball away as he linked up so well with JERMAINE (long sleeve shirt, gloves & the No.9 shirt) sorry Jerome Thomas

Becchio 6 - alright he scored a goal whilst stood on the line...passes the ball ten yards back to the defence & then doesn't turn & move, i could run faster...decent at defending set-pieces & in the opposition's 6 yard box (not in there enough) but in between the two totally inept. Desperately need a big strong quick striker preferably my favourite colour 8-) in the January window

Warnock - why take someone off who can hold onto the ball in Diouf & replace him with an unfit McCormack who never got a kick....nearly cost us the game as with the Millwall game when he replaced Hall with Ross. Ah well our fans seem to love him & Becchio of course....overated or what !

What you laughing at? You are always banging on about Poleon and how he should be played, how he shouldn't have been sent out on loan etc etc. I think he should have stayed out on loan to build his confidence. WTF has this experience today done for his confidence?????? :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Warnock made a very bad sub choice AGAIN and then destroyed the kid's confidence by subbing him off, after he made a defensive mistake.
Brings him on as an attacking winger and then the team goes all defensive and Poleon is NOT a defender.
I feel sorry for the kid.
