Good Morning. It's Thursday 18th April, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road...

Klaesson involved in late night car crash

Kristoffer Klaesson was rushed to hospital last night after smashing into a roadblock barrier. The 23-year-old shot stopper was driving his BMW M5 in Berger, Lillestrom, when the incident happened. Although not visibly injured, the Leeds star was taken to the nearby Akershus University Hospital to undergo tests, where he was interviewed by Police. It has been revealed that although Klaesson had not been drinking, his driving licence has been taken from him, and he has been charged with violating Section 3 of the Road Traffic Act; a crime that could see him face up to twelve months in jail!

Bundesliga champions join race for Summerville

Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have joined the race to sign Crysencio Summerville this Summer. The Sky Bet Championship player of the season is in hot demand with no fewer than nine clubs after his signature. Although his form has curtailed in recent times, his 18 goals, and 9 assists have got him noticed all around Europe! Leeds will be hoping to either extend his contract (two years left), or sell him to the highest bidder, and have slapped a £40m price tag around the 22 year old Dutchman's neck!

Ampadu wins monthly PFA Award

Ethan Ampadu has been voted the PFA Fans' Player of the Month, after helping the Whites to go unbeaten in March. The versatile 23yo has been instrumental to the success of Leeds this season. He has started 48 games and amassed 4351 minutes of game time, not to mention the shift he has put in for Wales! At £7m, the former Chelsea and Exeter City apprentice represents one of Leeds all time bargains; keeping hold of him this Summer will be top of the agenda for Daniel Farke.

Section 3 of the road traffic act in in the UK... May be different in Norway

Undertaking another vehicle (overtaking on the inside)
Failing to stop at a red light
Tailgating (driving too close to another vehicle)
Being avoidably distracted, for example by changing the radio or eating whilst driving
Turning into the path of another vehicle
Braking unnecessarily
Driving unnecessarily slowly
Remaining in an overtaking lane unnecessarily
Dazzling other road users with un-dipped headlights
Scraping a parked car
Using a sat nav whilst driving

Yeah I thought that was stupid since most cars are equipped with sat nav nowadays.

Does this mean we only have 1 available keeper given Darlow is still recovering (I think) and assuming Klaesson isn't back for Monday?

If he has had his licence taken off him he is effectively driving whilst disqualified and therefore has no insurance. Appears to be damage only with no 3rd parties. That is a positive in that respect - he could have been looking at some serious jail time if that had been the case.

I suspect our squad had been given a few days off after their hectic schedule.

Apparently his licence was taken post crash. So not a huge issue. Probably speeding at the most I would suggest. I am sure he will have a decent lawyer - probably not the one who advised the club of how to wriggle out of the Kevin debacle.

Well we've got Bamford he's great at preventing goals from being scored :)

Crumpet is a thing to be savoured and not one to be rushed
