I heard today... from the horses mouth (sort of)
I was talking on the phone to Bungle (my boss) today, and told him that I was wearing my LUFC face mask whether he thought it professional or not!!!
He seemed surprised that I supported Leeds, and then told me the following.....
His (Bungles) nephew is married to Ben Whites sister.. as Ben is from Wimborne..
And he says that Ben classes himself as a Leeds player and not Brighton... and that he is going to be here next season...
maybe he will, maybe he won't, but that is what he is saying at the moment....
I hope so................

Wow I hope that inside information comes to fruition Hector. I know Ben & Kalvin are really good mates so hopefully that may have some influence on his future. If I was in Ben's shoes I would look at the two clubs Leeds & Brighton & seriously consider which team has more credentials to succeed in the Premier League.hector wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 3:30 pm I was talking on the phone to Bungle (my boss) today, and told him that I was wearing my LUFC face mask whether he thought it professional or not!!!

Of course Brighton's management, his family & most definitely his agent will have a massive say on White's future.
Btw Hector I know Wimborne very well, was a lovely market town when I was living in the South
Re: I heard today... from the horses mouth (sort of)
The other point to consider is Ben White has only played in Brighton's first team twice in the first & second round of the EFL Cup four years ago, Ben only made six appearances in their reserve team prior to being sent out on loan to Newport, Peterbro' & Leeds, so Ben won't have any affinity with the Seagulls first team players or their coach Graham Potter
Re: I heard today... from the horses mouth (sort of)
That is along the lines of what he told Bungle.... he considers himself a Leeds player...
Re: I heard today... from the horses mouth (sort of)
Sounds about right. Even if you take away any of the player’s ‘love’ for either Leeds or Brighton, players just want to play every week and he is guaranteed to be one of the first on the teamsheet at Leeds

I really hope you're right but this caught my eye:
I know he has to phrase it like that but it made me sadHe said: “With this manager and these set of players I think they’ve definitely got a chance.”

Players usually look for a better terms when they move between teams, increase in wages and a long contract etc.
Wonder if Leeds can improve on his current deal?

This is all well and good (and I hope it pans out that way), but it has to be asked, why Bungle? Is he a dopey big hairy c**t who's best mate is called Geoffrey???

Which is uninspiring...TBH I don't think White will get a lot of say where he plays but my guess is Brighton or someone willing to spend twice his value on a whim.
