well............. from 1982 until the mid 90's I was away a lot, and when I was here I was heavily training, and didn't get a lot of time for new music, so just kept replaying all my loved old stuff...

I'm still working, although off for the Easter break now. Finding it tough to choose between my shortlist. Will make a decision later today.

S'difficult. The REM one is the "obvious" choice and will probably get the most votes. It also has two of my very favourite songs of theirs on it.......Fall On Me and Cuyahoga.
The two "goth" ones I was listening to constantly at the time..........the Husker Du album is ace but I always thought, on pretty much everything they did, they were let down by the tinny production.......I'm listening to the Big Black one now, which is magnificent, especially played loud, but some people might find it a bit too much.........the Sonic Youth one is great but wouldn't be my favourite record of theirs.......the Chameleons one I was obsessed with at the time and, although not my favourite album overall, has my favourite track of theirs, Caution........hmmmm............
