Which race tracks do you visit 64? I do love a good day out at the races. I’ve been doing every day of the Cheltenham Festival since 1983, Aintree, Punchestown Festival in April, and various other meetings in between. Usually jumps these days, but watching the great Dancing Brave in the flesh back in 1985/86 is a fantastic memory. Point to Point is also a great day out, picnic in the back of the car etc.

Because of work commitments & Leeds United of course, I haven't attended as many racecourses as I'd have like to over the years Denman.

Newbury, Plumpton, Salisbury, Brighton, Chester, Beverley & York are the only ones I've visited, none of them were major meetings.

Dancing Brave was a superb horse & probably should have won the 1986 Derby, I actually was fortunate to back the winner Shahrastani to beat Harwood/Starkey's stable star.

I prefer National Hunt racing, problem is the quality of racing is not as consistent as the Flat season. The festivals at Cheltenham & Aintree are special though :hors:

Missed Cheltenham twice in the last 20 odd years, will be doing the Wednesday this year.

Speaking of race tracks.........

I very much enjoy spending the odd weekend at Churchill Downs (never on Kentucky Derby day). It's only a 3 1/2 hour drive from my house.

When I am in Leeds this March, I will have free days Sunday - Wednesday (the 8th - 11th). Are there any race tracks convenient to the city that have programs on any of those days?
