I guess when we hear 'sell out' we all tend to expect crowds of 36,000+ but it never seems to happen.
It must be something to do with the away allocation

The only time I can remember anything above 36,000 was Newcastle in their promotion season with 36,002.

we just had a tad over 37,000 v norwich last year norm.
all away allocation sold out , all corporate and hospitality sold and i think they opened up the south stand boxes for that one which they seldom do . hence the 37,000

sorry norm you are correct about the norwich gate , my mistake . it was against sheff utd last year we had 37,004.

I used to get these figures from the official site Rich but I can't seem to get them this season, except for a couple of occasions.

Where do you get them from if you don't mind me asking?
