Klopp gets what he didn't want, shot himself in the foot

No need to play such a weakened team when they have more or less won the league

If only these prem sides had to play 8 games in 32 days

Brentford hammering Ull 5-1. Simply made the most of the chances. Say no more.

After he helped win them the game. Id rather JKA did that and went off after 70 mins.

Man city in the other hand are a bit like Leeds this year.

Spurs had three efforts on target and scored twice.
City had god knows how many and didn't score. And totally dominated possession.
Sound familiar?

Bamford has scored more goals this season than Bergwijn has in his entire league career. These comparisons are meaningless.

I think you are missing my point.

They've bought a player and given him a chance by throwing him straight into the starting 11. He repaid them by having a blinder - something that simply wouldn't happen at Leeds with bielsa in charge.

Sometimes managers take risks and it pays off.

Yes, I get your point, I just don't think you can deduce that because player x did something at Spurs, player y would do something similar at Leeds.

We simply don't know, so it comes down to whether you trust the manager's experience or your own wishful thinking.

Although Bielsa is not infallible, experience suggests, to me at least, that he is more likely to be right in his judgment than wrong. You can obviously choose whether or not you wish to support him in that.

isn't that why we buy new players? to see if they can do something different that the current ones clearly cannot do

Yes, or to do the same thing better.

Can every player expect to play in every game? No.
Is it the manager's decision? Yes.
Will fans always agree? No.

It was one game. He's been here four days. You're treating it as if it's the same as Nketiah, or Izzy Brown, where we didn't see them for weeks. And then when we did see them, it soon became apparent why they hadn't been picked.

I don't expect for a minute that it will be the same with Augustin. If he hasn't played after three or four games, then get back to me.

See Che Adams got 10 minutes at the end of the Southampton Cup match when replacing the injured Shane Long. Am sure he is delighted to still be there.

Not to me it didn't.
