keep as defender, he is better than last season showed as he was pretty permanently injured...

I think he will prove his worth this season....

rotate with the Macedonian muppet occasionally to keep them both honest..

5 points for last season...

Retain as starter and hopefully he improves on last season, I’m sure he will

Rating got to be a 5 so plenty of room for improvement

Retain and hope he plays like he did in the first 1/4 of last season.
Hopefully an injury free season and we might see the best of him.. 🤔
Marks out of 10 ? 4. 🤔🙄

His previous career suggests he is better than he was last season and maybe it was just a hangover effect from having a good season but then also been told he wasn't good enough for the prem. Hopefully he has a point to prove. At the moment I would have him as a potential first teamer but he appears to have a lot of competition for the spot.

Last season 5.5

Needs to remain injury free & find his early form of last season if he looking to retain the LB spot

Rating = 5

I'd keep Barry Douglas and include him for sure. Probably only a Championship player ..due to injuries & not the player from a couple of seasons back.
Good solid left back & plays an Marcelo Beisla attacking minded defender.
Keeping his cool & and staying clear from injuries will be vital.
Rating for me is a 6.

Pretty much what hector said. We only saw glimpses of what he's about as he was injured for a sizeable portion of the season, but there's a good player there who perfectly fits the Bielsa way. 5.5 for the season, expecting a solid 7 this coming one.
