The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 20th June)

Post by Ellandback1 » Thu Jun 20, 2019 6:41 am

Good Morning Everyone

According to family and friends of Wolves right winger Helder Costa, the 25yo cannot wait to move to Leeds.

The hold up is the paperwork, as the former Benfica man is on holiday until the end of the month

He contributed 12 goals and 11 assists in his debut season in the Championship.

Leeds will be hoping he can replicate that.

Jack Clarke's transfer to Tottenham is more or less done! The Leeds starlet is set to sign a four year deal with Spurs next week!

A fee of 14m is still being banded about, though we don't know if its all to be paid in one go, and whether there is a sell on clause?

Leeds target Michael Frey is reportedly unsure whether a move to Elland Road would suit him as he doesn't want to play in the second tier!

A fee of 3.5m is believed to be on the table for the Fenerbahce striker.

Anti Brexit rally's around Leeds this weekend include guest speakers Hilary Benn and ex Leeds Utd Manager Peter Reid.

Well, if that doesn't stop Brexit, I don't know what will!!!

Won't believe any rumours until the official site publishes it.....

Bristol City Manager Lee Johnson has been talking to the press about hosting Leeds on the opening game of the season!

"It’s a biggie! Fantastic," Johnson said report Bristol Live.

"That’s exactly what you want - big, big game. First game is always like a cup final mentality.

"It’s Leeds, fantastic team, fantastic manager. Me and Jamie (McAllister, assistant coach) have just rented out a two-bedroom flat overlooking Leeds’ training ground so we can get a good old view of their training!

"It'll be great. Ashton Gate will be absolutely packed, live on Sky. A real, first game, cup final feeling that the lads will love.

"I'm pretty sure with the obsession in the fanbase, (holiday) plans will be changed."

So Diaz is gone.

Did we sell him or was he out of contract? :duno:

Pity that one of the so successful development squad goes on to do absolutely nothing for us.
"We can wait for the next game with serenity"

"I am quite clear in my mind that one has to feel sincere love for those he leads, and if he doesn't feel it naturally, then he must learn how to feel it"
