retain yes... but not as a midfielder... he is a striker

if he can keep fit, will score 25+ goals in this system

7.5 for last season, injuries and recovery from them dropped his form a bit.

Retain Yes

Starter If fit and finds his shooting boots again yes after last season he deserves to be given another opportunity to prove he is a top striker

Bench Nope

Rating last season 7 overall without the injuries I’m sure he’d have scored many more goals

No better reason for keeping a striker on the pitch tbf ;-)

Keep as striker. He's our starting number 9 unless someone else is brought in. If he eats fit he scores 20+.

Contract is an issue, but I can see it getting sorted regardless of TOMA.

8 out of 10. One of the 3 most influential players this year.

Move on for me.

Dont think the club should be offering him £30k a week and if that is what he wants then sell now.

Also frankly im yet to be convinced he is a 20 goal a season striker in the Championship.

6.5 started well but like Bamford to wasteful.

I'd want Roofe to be retained certainly he has more to offer for sure.
Sure he's only here a relative short time and ÌF he stays fit he can be more productive.
Passing is sharp, movement is exceptionally good, workrate is excellent & allround game very , very good.
Of course does he stay...? Difficult if a big offer came in.
Rating for me is an 8.

Retain as a striker
Starts if fit
Only if his wage demands become excessive
7.5 for the season. Without injuries, he'd have had 20+

Unconvinced we'll get 25 goals from Roofe as I doubt we'll get 40 matches out of him.

Should have easily got at least 20 goals last season

Should we sign a proven goalscorer Roofe would be on the bench for me

If a signing doesn't materialise Roofe starts

7/10

A tricky one this as it is hard to know exactly what we can get from Kemar Roofe next season. Last season was a breakout season for him in terms of scoring at this level but equally we were a team that created the most chances in the league so should our striker (be it Roofe or Bamford) have been scoring more.

At present I would be concerned if we started next season with Roofe and Bamford as our only striking options.

Retain as first team starter: Not as a guaranteed starter but would keep him as a first team player that may be a squad member but would likely start a lot of games.

Retain as squad player: Yes

Sell: If an offer was decent and it would bring in someone who would be almost guaranteed to score more.

Kemar Roofe didn't score in 20 of his 32 appearances so I don't buy he is a 25 goals a season striker.

Why no goals in 20 matches ?

Because some he was playing injured, some he was recovering, and at least 8 he was played out of position.

So he didn't miss an abundance of chances that a clinical striker would normally score

Same problem applies to Bamford too imo !

Both injury prone & not physically strong enough to play at least 40 games a season

Definitely keep.
I rate Bamford higher but the competition between them should keep them in their toes
7.5

I really miss Kemar...big mistake but I think MB told him he was going to be behind Bamford. He'd probably have only played sporadically for us had he stayed. I'm going to say it...Better than Beckford!
