Think Lampard is going to get that job at some point.
I think the rest of the Prem will be happy to welcome him to the league.
It will take some heat out of our games against Derby but what are the chances we draw Chelsea in either the league or FA cup

If Lampard has any sense (and humility, doesnt believe the hype) then he will stay at Derby, gain more experience, try and actually get them promoted and improve on last season.
he got Derby to the playoff final, but also got less points then Rowett did the season before as well as conceded more goals and scored less, its daft that he is even in the running tbh.
What makes him a better candidate then other people the bookies have in the running?
Rafa Benitez, Jose Mourinho, Erik Ten Hag, Diego SImeone, Javi Gracia, Nuno Santo, even our own Marcelo Bielsa is in the running according to some odds.
