The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 11th June)

Post by Ellandback1 » Tue Jun 11, 2019 7:09 am

Good Morning Everyone

According to various sources, Bielsa's first priority is to bring three wingers to Elland Road

Is this as urgent as other positions?

Where does this put Alioski?

Liverpool's Harry Wilson has rejected a loan move to Elland Road.

The Liverpool forward is either looking for a permanent transfer or to break into the Reds first team.

Talking about Liverpool, Leeds are in a tug of war with Rangers over Ryan Kent.

The young forward made a big impact North of the border.

Thoughts?

After a disappointing season, Burnley have decided they don't want Matej Vydra anymore!!!

The former Derby hitman came within a whisker of becoming a White, even deciding what squad number he wanted, before he backed out of the deal, ending up at Turf Moor.

The Clarets have slapped a 10m price tag on him.

Thoughts?

During the recent qualifier against Estonia, who was more at wrong?

Bailey Peacock Farrell or the wall?

Hi EB

It'd be nice to get a winger or two.

Vydra is 27, and has had two decent seasons in his career.
We're going up like there is no gravity!

Dont want money grabber Vydra. Soon as Burnley flashed the cash there was only one place he was going and made a whopping zilch impact !
Dont know why but i couldn't see Wilson coming to Leeds. He's set his sights higher and rightly so imo.
Generally Leeds need to get a couple in who are bigger and taller as we have a relatively small set of players who lack height and get brushed off the ball too easily because of their small build . Wingers yes but the midfield is certainly not Leeds strong area.

Morning folks.

The wing does need strengthening as a priority. Last season proved that with our wasteful possession.
I'd ask where does MBs priority leave Pablo and Clarke as well...

Not surprised about Wilson and we wont get Kent for peanuts, not with Rangers wanting to hold on to him. But I think he has plenty to offer us, he is improving greatly. He is that type of player who gets fans off their seats when he is on the ball.

Vydra? Keep Roofe and Bamford and give them quality delivery and we will have 35 to 40 goals between them next April.

The Estonia goal. Wall wasnt doing its job but Bailey P should have got something on it imo. At least he didn't just fall on his backside...

Either way it is BPF at fault - he sets the wall so if the guy can curl it round the wall and into the net then the wall isn't set properly. It wasn't like the shot went through the wall. The wall did its job - not their fault if the player doesn't hit it at any of them.

Wolves releasing Costa and Cavaleiro. Either/or both of those. No to Vydra for me, only does it when the team is set up around him, and has a s**t attitude. Not too fussed about Kent.
