Loanees Returning

Post by andrewjohnsmith »

Pretty good breakdown here on Leeds Live.

Mostly disappointments. Guys like Shaugnessy, O'Connor, and Pearce that broke into first team last year seem further away.

You'd think Anita would be a perfect squad player for Bielsa but seems to have regressed.

Lewie Coyle was much hyped last year but doesn't seem any closer.

Many others winding down their contracts. Any hopes?

Wilks? Grot?

I had high hopes for Lewie Coyle who apparently has impressed at Fleetwood

Made over 40 appearances for the Lancashire club, his disciplinary record is a real concern, ten yellows & one red card last season

Whether Coyle is good enough to play championship football I'm unsure, right now he'd play 2nd fiddle to Ayling at best

I don't think any of them are good enough and wouldn't be upset if they were sold. I'd only keep Rey, Wilks and Sam Dalby, who was completely messed around by Morecambe and missed out on the u23 celebrations.
