He started that whole sequence with some fine defense all the way down the other end of the pitch. Outstanding run of play from Shackleton.

No way a penalty. For once a decision correctly went in our favour.
FF, that bastion of sportsmanship and fair play took it well

Great win. I am glad i was wrong. Never a pen thank god the linesman saw it.
Another 90 minutes still to play though so nothing has finished yet.
Then start thinking about the next game if there is one

Played really well when he came on, quick and direct - defenders nightmare.

I don't know where the Jack Clarke from early in the season has gone. Please bring him back.

Sky sports commentary so biased it's ridiculous.

Hugely relieved by the result and the performance.

Casilla - 8 - A rock today
Ayling - 9 - Really on top form atm
Dallas - 8 - Can't criticize that effort, properly looked the part today.
Cooper - 8 Kept his cool, solid in defence
Beradi - 9 - Combative and when he's on form really tightens up this defence and that was early season form

Hernandez - 7 - Good game but missed some easy passes in the first and failed to connect when in good position
Phillips - 8 - Good game, needs more energy when tracking back but he's so much better when in the opponents half and the corners have improved since he stated taking them
Klich - 9 - Very good game from my POTS, ever present and never lets us down
Forshaw - 6 - Not on long enough
Shackleton - 9 - A breath of fresh air so dangerous and could have had a couple
Harrison - 8 - Good all round game, would have been wrong to give a pen when all he did try to clear when he had position. Great assist

Roofe - 8 - Getting back to his best, Class and characteristic finish, doesn't need two touches.

Clarke - 7 - Getting back

Looked to me like Fogel fouled Harrison, clipped his leg from behind. Great call from the assistant.

So Derby players gurning about the penalty shout and also the Klich yellow.

That will distract their media off the truth that they just didn’t play well enough to trouble our keeper.

Should have been 3, but good to take a lead into ER means Derby can't park the bus. How good was Shack? Been wanting him to get a chance for ages. Gutted for him because he should have two brilliant assists this season, today and Reading away. Never a penalty in a million years, well done lino showed a lot of bravery to make that decision, but he will be demoted now for daring to give us a decision. The media narrative will be that Saint Frank was cheated by evil foruner Bielsa, rather than Derby not having a shot on target. If Klich should be off, so should Huddelstone and Tomori, so they can't cry about that either. Thought the ref was fair for once, maybe easily bought by Wilson diving for free kicks, but still gave good decisions. Important now we don't get complacent and let them back in it.

Dallas and Harrison combine brilliantly then Harrison plays the best pass of his life

Roofe looked better then he has for ages, took it well.

If only we could finish our chances but hey ho.

Showed again we are just a better side then Derby, just hope we dont have a series of brain farts at Elland Road.

And we finally get a decision that goes in our favour

Yeah never a penalty, Harrison was in front of the Derby player so if anyone was fouled it was Harrison. Also to claim that Klich was a headbutt is ludicrous - it was a head into the chest but with upwards motion, silly to do but had absolutely no power - less power than Hourinhane's punch on him. For it to be a headbutt the head has to go back and then forward, usually slightly downwards too, to get any power.

The pleasing thing today is that that wasn't even us at our best. It was an average performance in the main, defended well and pressed well but our passing wasn't as sharp as it can be. Yet we still scored, hit the crossbar and Roofe and Hernandez should also have scored another. Derby had what? Casillas not a save to make, one dangerous cross and one dive for a penalty. Obviously still far from over as Derby have to come at us and it is vital that we did like we did today and that was to take the sting out of Derby up tempo start. Derby came out of the traps today, fired up and determined to put us under pressure but it didn't phase us at all.

Fat Frank wants to replicate himself in the Derby team so he brought on 3 barrels of lard
Bennett Huddlestone and Marriott... did you see the width of those boys.
That is not a fit team... good God... Keogh that old man did more running than the
three of them put together.

Well done Leeds. Hung in there when it mattered . Really thought Derby would score but they're as bad as us upfront. We tore them apart down the left in first half but didn't capitalize...again ! No way was it a penalty infact I don't think there was any contact, well done linesman....is luck on our side in the playoffs for once. Thought the ref was fair amidst some of the Derby girls throwing their handbags on the ground, hope the ref in the 2nd leg is equally as good. Finally what a cross from Harrison to Roofe ! Where did that come from ! He's waited 47 games to do that ! If we don't get to Wembley now we never will !!

I wouldn't be surprised to see the linesman running the line at Sunday League next season. FL heads will roll for that appointment.

Sky pundit (certainly not an expert) was saying that he still thinks it was a penalty.

I'm still yet to see Keogh blink. He has a proper psychopath stare.
