Hi Folks

The penultimate game of Leeds 2018-19 season sees the visit of high flying Aston Villa to Elland Road for a Sunday lunchtime kick off.

Dean Smith's men have won 10 on the bounce elevating themselves and guaranteeing 5th place in the table.

Bearing this in mind, will the former Brentford gaffer want to rest his star players for the play offs?

Bielsa will surely be thinking the same. Leeds are 3 points and have a -9 goal handicap than their South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Utd but are 5 points clear of the Baggies with two games remaining!

It seems a foregone conclusion that the Blades will beat Ipswich on Saturday. Bearing this in mind, what team would you put out against Villa?

Will Brown finally get a chance, show his class and win us the play offs?

Alioski is having surgery on his ankle. With Douglas out of action too, who would you like to see at left back? Laif, Dallas or Berardi?

Does Shackleton deserve a chance to show what he can do?

What about Polish wizkid Mateusz Bogusz?

What would you do?

Wonder if he'll wait for the Sheffield result before naming the team..

Either way Shackleton should start and Roofe for Bamford.

Probably they will wait until wether this game has significance... but as other has said a chance to rest/rotate a few players.

Also a massive opportunity for the support to give the team a massive lift in our final home fixture of the regular season.

As others have said wait to see what happens with Sheffield United.

If they win as expected then rest players.

Ayling, Hernandez, Klich, Jansson and Cooper.

Maybe Bamford to.

Dallas for Ayling.
Davis for Ali
Shacks for Klich
Clarke for Hernandez
Struijk and Diaz for Jansson and Cooper.

Get Bogusz and Edmondson in the squad to.

Make the game an opportunity for the kids.

If Villa decide to do the same it'll be the best U23 game all season.

Remember Smith slagging us off after the draw whilst he was Brentford manager, then again moaning that we over celebrated the comeback win at Villa Park, he really doesn't like Leeds so will do all he can to win the game, I'll be surprised if he plays anything but a strong team.

If there is one bloody team I detest in the Championship its this lot !!!! God help my nerves if we end up playing them at Wembley in Play off Final.

The arrogance of their fans just makes me so angry

Really hope we can rise to the occasion and do the double over them on Sunday. It will also hurt them psychologically if we did that ahead of any possible 3rd meeting.

With Villa already assured of 5th place I expect them to wrap Jack Grealish in cotton wool until the play offs.
He'll either start and be taken off early of start as sub in the final two games.
He makes them tick and their 10 game winning run has coincided with his return from injury.
As others have suggested, our team should depend on the result of the Blunts game.
But knowing MB it will be 'as you were' for both games.

Kiko, Ayling, Pontus, Cooper, Berardi, Phillips, Forshaw, Roberts, Harrison, Roofe, Hernandez.

No point in naming anything but our strongest team given that there is still a chance for automatics (even if Sheff do win). I'd only change Klich for Forshaw as Klich was looking drained on Monday and I think Forshaw and Phillips might be a more physically imposing pair.

If you drop a load of those players it doesn't give them a chance to redeem themselves and also robs them of the last (regular) home game a season in ehich they deserve massive plaudits.

If it's gone by Ipswich then by all means shake the squad up - rest Hernandez, who has put a right shift in.

Good call Genghers agree Klich was drained and didn't look strong in the middle mate.I be tempted to play Dallas too more experienced that Harrison.

Bielsa

Team has had 300 chances to score (total)

Had 100 chances more to score than Norwich and Sheffield

We have 14 players who played the whole season

Douglas, Alioski and Davis (3 LBs of the team) have all had knee injuries.

Basically saying what we've achieved this season with the resources we have is admirable, but also bemoaning the conversion rate.

Says the Wigan game is the one that ended automatics.

Dallas to start at LB. Kind of makes sense that you wouldn't start Berardi (our only backup 'CB') in case one of the other needs subbing.

Bielsa surprisingly downbeat. Not writing us off, but did say that Wigan was where our season went wrong.

Thinks that him and his coaching team have squeezed absolutely everything possible out of the players here, which is probably true.

First admission from Marcelo that losing out on James was a significant blow

Well we all know that

Bielsa saying him staying on is not down to him, clearly indicates it's Radz's decision
