Sitting is the new smoking

Remember the days when doctors recommended smoking as a way relieve stress,
and only later on the detrimental effects of smoking were discovered.
In the same way research is now being done on how sitting for long periods
of time is detrimental for our health. Test yourself on how easy it is to sit down
on the floor without using your hands and also using no hands to get up.
Let me know how you got on.

I did the no hands sit down and get up, was fine

Although i find its harder to get up off my beanbag now :duno:

Did you have any special technique for getting up and down? We tried it as an extended family and grandchildren have some novel ways of getting down. Usually a squat and dropping down from there.

Thats it exactly, squat then sit and to stand get your legs under you, onto your knees and up.

Was harder then i thought tbf.
