QPR V Leeds Utd Match Thread

Hi Folks
72 Hours after seeing off Bolton, Leeds are back in action, this time with Steve McClaren's QPR.
The ex England bosses tenure at Loftus Road must he hanging by a thread having seen his side lose seven consecutive league games in a row, and slipping to 18th in the Championship table.
By comparison, Leeds 13 points from a possible 21 looks reasonable.
Leeds have no new injury worries. Dallas and Brown are fit, and both will surely play a big part in the midweek fixture.
Shackleton is itching for some game time, but will Bielsa give the youngster a starting slot, especially after seeing Aylings best game this year!
Talking of best games, Citeh loanee Jack Harrison played a blinder on Saturday - if he can keep that going, it will certainly be a huge benefit to Bielsa's side.
Jack Clarke returned to training on Friday following the virus which saw him rushed to hospital during the latter stages of the Boro game. It remains to be seen whether the 18yo will play any part of the QPR game!
Boltons boss Phil Parkinson claimed he could 'feel anxiety in the air' at Elland Road on Saturday. If that is true what are Leeds going to be like at Loftus Road knowing that a win will see the Whites soar back to the summit of the Championship.

We need an early goal to calm the players down on Tuesday.

Long day on Tuesday for me.
Leaving East Yorks at 10.15am & not expecting to return home until 4.30am especially as there are a couple of diversions due to roadworks on the M1

I think away performances could well be better than home ones, there's a different atmosphere, less pressure on the players

That's 18 hours! Blimey 64, I don't envy you, but good on ya. I hope the lads repay you with a win
Re: QPR V Leeds Utd Match Thread
Brilliantly funny.....how on earth did you find that Sara? Hope that sums McLaren up on Tuesday....
Re: QPR V Leeds Utd Match Thread
Sums McLaren upto a tee
Re: QPR V Leeds Utd Match Thread
Hopefully I can get some sleep on the coach returning back home Swannie
The good thing is I haven't got a 40 minutes rural drive from Howden in the early hours of the morning, I'm parking my car at our bowls club only 15 minutes away where I'm being picked up on our way to Woodall Services on the MI boarding for our coach to London. On some aways I have a two & half hour all-round drive so Tuesday's travelling arrangements will be a doddle for me

I remember McLaren was mooted as a possible manager for us over recent seasons.
Thank God that didn't happen, don't rate him at all.
A win tomorrow will turn the screw on WBA and also let Norwich and blunts know that we will not be fading away.
Wins v QPR and WBA will apply real pressure to Norwich, blunts and WBA.
MOT.
